Haven't been on for a few days but just took a look at the list and its great to see so many smiley faces, let's keep it up!
To those of you who were disappointed this time my thoughts are with you, don't give up. Your smiley will appear there one day. xxx

Hi Girls
I just read the post about home preg tests not being very reliable until a bit later on. My hospital don't do blood tests on test day so i have no choice but to do it at home. Anybody else's hospital not do blood test????

Mine don't. So I will be the same as you and will have to do a HPT.

Hi Wendy

Mine don't either, and you have to wait till 16 days after ET although I started doing mine about 8 days after ET, didn't get a positive result till 10 days after. On day 16 if you have a positive test you then have to go in for the blood test to confirm.

Everyone is different though. On my first pregnancy even at 7 months pregnant the HPT was showing negative!!

Is it tomorrow your scan? I've been scrolling through but can't find where you put it! My memory isn't that good anymore! If it is tomorrow, good luck and enjoy it - hopefully there is going to be more than one little heart beat waving away at you!

Hi girls, just want to know whether girls who have got BFPs experience any pregnancy symptoms?
Any nausea? sore breasts? frequent urination? or other symptoms?
I have none of the above symptoms. I am a bit worried and would like to see how other buddies are doing.

My wife (Renee) has all the symptoms you mentioned: nausea, sore breasts and very frequent urination. She also has slight back pain, heartburn and is very tired as well. Just because you don't have any symptoms doesn't mean anything - your HCG levels are all that matters at this point. My sister tells me that she didn't experience ANY symptoms in the first trimester with either one of her kids!

Our third HCG test is tomorrow - we need to make sure that our numbers are doubling. Please wish us *and every other BFP* luck!!! I am scared witless as usual!!

Wendy, my hospital do not take blood tests I did a HPT and then had to wait 2 weeks for a scan (which is on Monday)! It has been a long wait, not knowing what is going on!!!

I definately wouldn't be worrying. It is still early days. I was really sick the week before I did the test but that has gone now. I'm completely exhausted (but then everyone is in this heat), my boobs have gone up a cup size already - move over Jordan you have competition!!

A lot of pregnancy symptons only start to show at around 6 weeks + but some people don't get them till the end of the first trimester.

When's your first scan? What have your bloods been like? I think you're the same as me roughly. My scan is next Thursday, I can't wait, although I've had lots of positive tests and my bloods were good it's not till you see that heartbeat that it sinks in.
