That's what I used with Joey. I did clomid and an hcg trigger shot and nine months later out came my little man. !! Good luck sweetie.

Hi Nicki

I had clomid and whilst I didn't get pregnant on it, it did make me ovulate.
And I have heard of many people getting pregnant on it. I do look back now and wonder if it would have worked if I had not been at work.
I eventually got pregnant on injections - menopur. We had tried for 2 and a half years and when I left my stressful job I got pregnant within 6 weeks!
I'm not suggesting you quit your job but just saying that clomid did make me ovulate and may have worked if I wasn't in my crap job!

I had some side effects like bad headaches with it so refused to take it after 6 months.

good luck

Hi again Nicki

I just had a quick look on the net at clomid side effects and can't see sore throat anywhere so maybe you are coming down with something.

Its amazing the effect a stressful job can have on fertility I think. I was talking to my acupuncturist about the fact that I got pregnant very soon after leaving my job and she said she sees it all the time. She has treated heaps of women who have been trying for years who then give up work and get pregnant! However, now I have no job, I feel a bit bored and not to mention, poor! its all worth it though and I'm not complaining!

good luck
