I know what you mean with the names. We haven't discussed it much, but I have a hard time thinking up boys names. I have my heart set on Faith for the girl, but I don't think he likes it. I can't think of any boys names that interest me.
As of June 6th, I'm 8 weeks, first scan yesterday. Triplets. Scarred out of mind!!

Hey guys,

Welcome to 2nd tri Dottie, it is great to hear that you are doing so well.

Rouge, hope you are hanging in there and feeling better about it all.

I had my scan the other day and all looking good - managed to hold out and asked them not to tell us the sex, but we got a dvd of the scan and when watching it at home DH spotted what looks like a little giveaway! Still don't want to know for sure though!

Terri, I also can't wait to look unmistakeably pregnant! My bump is starting to become noticeable - still depends on what I wear and being winter here is easy for it to stay covered.

Am still feeling nauseous some mornings - anyone else?? But have more energy in general which is a relief.

Great to hear everyone is well!

Is anyone else just sweltering in this heat??? All over Europe we are having record highs and there is no end in sight! Yesterday we worked in the vineyard and I was really lazy and only worked for about 1 hour..I started to feel dizzy so I sat in the shade while DH worked. Today I am so exhausted..very long weekend with DH going to hospital and one of the neighbors decided to party all weekend  (teenage daughter with parents out of town)....I kept talking to Isabella telling her how disrespectful the neighbor girl is being

I am so jealous of everyone's showers! We don't have babyshowers in Germany or Austria.

Kristi - The names will come in time...or maybe you won't know until the boys are in your arms.

Jamato - thank you for the name list! It looks great!

Welcome to the 2. tri Dottie! Happy to hear everything is still going well with the 3 little ones.

Hi to everyone I missed 8)

Hi all!

Well we went for our 3d/4d scan on Thursday - how fab are they! Unfortunately the little one didn't want to play and at first was lying face down so we couldn't see anything! Eventually after a long walk s/he turned round and we have some amazing pics. I'll try and post them on photobucket (although my camera phone is rubbish and I only know how to do it with that so I apologise now if they don't come out very well!).

Have been suffering with really bad belly ache for the past few days. Think it's just trapped wind/constipation but have a routine midwife app. tomorrow so I'll just mention it to her. Would welcome any cures you might have though!!!!

Anyway, think I should move over to the 3rd tri thread. Will pop in and check how you all are of course! Anyone else over 27 weeks that wants to make the jump as well?

Laters!

Cla, your scan sounds fun! I'll see you over in the 3rd T in about 2 weeks. There's probably a handful of us that will be hitting the 3rd T at that time and moving also.

Jessica, I bought all my nursery bedding/accessories. The theme is sort of like contemporary gingham plaids with trucks, cars, boats, firetruck. It's hard to describe. I wanted something modern, yet with a boy flair, so this was perfect.

Rouge, Aiden was my first choice for a boy name, but it doesn't fit with our last name (also starts with "A-d"). I love that name though!

Bella, you're using your first name for your girl's middle name, right? I was going to use my first or middle name for a girl baby's middle name also. No girls for me though. Great idea!!

Jessica, I like Tyler as a first name right now...noticed you chose it for a middle name. Great name!

Have a great day everyone!

OMG Girls!! Think I just felt my first baby flutters!! :) Am 19w1d and it has taken a while because the placenta is in front - we saw it at the scan the other day and it is like a big cushion in front of bubba - he must have been having a really good kick just now! How amazing is that feeling?

Am sitting here like a fool at my desk just grinning! ;)

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. There seem to be heaps of us with the front facing placentas! I didn't feel kicks till week 21 for same reason (first ones on my birthday  ) but have felt them really quite strong every day since then. I had a mild panic yesterday and today as they suddenly stopped. I called my emergency hours midwife after 10pm who really upset me by shouting at me for calling her so late! I was just flabbergasted and went to the hospital today instead where they checked and all is okay. Just having a few lazy days apparently so must be taking after her father

Boy we don't even have a nursery! Live in a one bedroom city place so the nesting instinct translates instead as 3 am wake ups wanting to write lists of all the crap we have to move to make way for baby! Guess we will be moving out of our place after baby is born. Buying heaps of fun stuff though, latest is a baby hammock which hangs on a stand and you can transport around with you, sleeps bubba just like in the womb and supposed to be nice comfy alternative to a cot / bassinett which we can get when we move out of here.

Love all the names! Bella most of yours are on my very extended list!! Is it Lisa with Layna?? Anahera means little angel too, (in Maori), Angel is also the name of my gran

Dont know how to update list, but if the next person updating it can put the sex of wee little akachan as a girl not unknown that would be great. I know the sex, but DH just happens not to and hes thinking hes about to father the next junior all black. Oops.

Hope your all well, catch you later. Anyone heard from our Sue E who seems to be MiA ....

Hi, can I just ask where I should be feeling the baby's movements? I read that at this stage (around 19 wks) the baby is supposed to be slightly below the navel... if I feel some movement to the right of my navel, could that be the baby kicking?

Libby, congrats! It's so exciting to feel that, huh?

Rouge, at 19 weeks your baby should be around 15 centimeters. That's crown to rump...so it is actually longer with the length of its legs. It's moving all around, so you might feel it anywhere. I have twins so mine is different, but most of my feeling is right in the middle around my belly button (can't tell which twin) and then I feel them separately on my side...about 3-4 inches left or right of my belly button. So if you are like me the majority of the movement is around my belly. So you might be feeling it!!

Mel, I can just imagine your midwife thinking you are crazy for calling late at night in a panic for not feeling her. They must hear that often though! The hammock sounds like a great idea!

Nope, I haven't seen a post from Sue in a while either. Hope all is ok with her. Maybe she's busy doing the nursery or taking a vacation!

Hi Mel and Kristi- thanks for thinking of me, im ok, just trying to get things sorted around the house, like painting the hall, the preparation is taking ages because it was in such a poor way. Got a chest infection, so my pace is even slower than normal (whch aint fast  ). I have got another scan tomorrow, so we are hoping bubble performs and lets her have a close look.

How are you both? seems like everyone is full steam ahead with the shopping, we have bought a number of things. I finished school on fri for the summer and still managed to keep secret away from my boss (she is horrible), so will tell her when i am next in and i will be 7.5 months. thinking we may actually tell my mum tomorrow after the scan, think she may be a little surprised. Still havent told my 2 brothers or my other sister, i know my nephews and nieces will be chuffed to bits. Seems mad that there is only 16 weeks left and we are just starting to tell people.

Will let you know how it goes tomorrow and if we find out the sex

love
