Hi , I am new and I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 28 and my husband is 30. I found out a couple of months ago that my tubles are a little blocked. My doctor informed me that I should do IVF. I started taking birth control last week. Does anyone have an idea of when the doctor will have me start the shots?

Why not give your doctor a call and ask him/her a few questions - they should be more than happy to let you know a rough timetable of when things might happen, even if it's a case of waiting to your next period. I started my shots 3 days after my period started. It might depend on what medication your doctor recommends for your particular case though.
