Help!! Tiny bit of red in discharge

hi girls,

i am panicing here. just went to the bathroom, and when i wiped, there was a little tiny bit of red in the discharge. is that normal? i am only several weeks pregnant. and first scan is not till next thurs. nurse called me today abt my lack of soreness from my breasts. she told me not to worry as symptoms do come and go. but what abt this blood i just saw????

It is normal for some people to get spotting all the way through their pregnancy. When I was at the clinic yesterday I heard the lady on the phone to someone else with the same problem. She said unless it becomes a heavy bleed not to worry. I would call your clinic again as you are worried.

Congratulations on your pregnancy...fantastic...as for the bleeding you would think we go through enough with IVF that we could catch a break when we get a +ive... but no.... now i know nothing i can say will completely take away your worry (i think you have to settle in for ooo another 18 years of that) but i just wanted to say my sisters had periods for the first 2-3 months with most of there pregnancys (and im talking a full flow)and all there babys are fine... i have also learned that we IVFers are more prone to spotting and bleeding (just great hey), i can imagine how scared you are if it gets heavier and it freaks you out too much call your clinic i would they are there to help you through this... sending hugs your way i hope it stops for you
