Hi all

I'm back from my lovely hols and ...

Well here's the news. It was a .... BFN :( :( after all.

AF showed on my test date late in the afternoon. A good 2 and a half almost 3 days late and 17 days after iui which is very late to get AF after ovulation. All the literature says (and the nurse) that AF shows 12-16 days after ovulation. I was really starting to think it was a BFP.

The nurse said she though I might have had a biochemical pregnancy, where I got as far as cell division but then the embryo didn't implant  . This would have explained the cramps I had all day, 2 days after iui and my late period.

So my 2nd attempt is next Sunday there or there about with bloods starting this wednesday. Am hopeful that what has happened with this one is a good sign :D

Thanks again for all your support.
