I thought i would post that for Racquel when its official incase its only 1 beanie!!
Dory didnt want it posted about her BFP until its official on test day so I figured i would do the same and not post until everyone is official!
i went for an vaginal ultrasound yesterday due to the small amount of blood from discharge. anyway, i'm at 6 weeks 1 day yesterday and all the md saw was the gestational sac and not the yolk sac. he assured me that he doesn't expect to see that this early. but by next thurs (another u/s) he hopes to see the yolk sac and hearbeat. girls, i have been sooo worried. all the info on the internet had pointed me to believe that i should have the yolk sac by week 6. but maybe cos' i'm only at the beginning of week 6? for those of you that already had the scan, how soon did you see the sac and heartbeat? i really need some real life stories.

I have replied to you on the 1st trimester thread but I had scan at 6 weeks. All they saw was a sac and nothing else, they even said the sac was only 5 weeks so the baby could have stopped growing. I had to go back a week later for another scan. That was last Thursday and before the probe got to where it was going you could see the heart beating away. The baby, sac and everything was where it should be and the right sizes for the dates. It's amazing what a week can do!
Hang in there and please don't worry, the next week will be longer than the 2WW but will be worth it!

You must be so excited because this is horrible worrying about everything until we get over that 12 week hump!
And the waiting period is the biggest killer!
