Hello folks. We are thinking of going to Crea in Valencia for treatment. If anybody who has already been there could let us have any feedback on

Feedback on CREA
Jilly,
Did you go any further with CREA? Do you have any more feedback on them? We went there for an initial consultation in July (06). We were very impressed with them.
We are thinking of trying egg donor/IVF there but we cannot find anyone who has been treated there who can give us positive feedback.

Crea
We have done 2 IVF & 1 IUI at Hammersmith, all failed. We were under Mr Margara (since retired). He suggested that the egg donor route was our best bet and that some of the Spanish clinics who offer this were excellent. He suggested that we could find a clinic in Valencia and in Barcelona by researching on the internet. Crea was the clinic we found in Valencia. We asked Mr Margara if they were upto standard and he confirmed that they were. As it turns out, when my wife went to see Mr Lavery (at the Hamersmith) last week to discuss the practicalities of Hammersmith supporting us (medically) during the treatment, he was not familiar with Crea and he would have directed us towards another Spanish clinic. That is why we are a bit uncertain about proceeding at Crea. We really liked the Dr we consulted with there, and we are looking for feedback to give us the confidence to proceed at Crea, or to hear anything negative that might make us rethink our choice.
Have you come across anyone else who has been there and particularly anyone who has been treated there?
We are keen to hear some feedback about Crea.

Hi there Jilly and Londonlobbie,
My consultant at my local hospital recommended only last week that I should give up trying for natural conception and - at 44 - go directly to egg donation as a next step.
I was first told to contact the Woking Nuffield which has a waiting list of at least 18mths for this - so when I asked again for recommendations I was told the Lister in London as the next step and then Valencia in Spain as step two if all else failed as my consultant apparently has heard very good reports. So - I am waiting for a reply to say which clinic exactly and what reports/references. When and if I get them I can let you have the details.
In the meantime - how are you both getting on?
