Hello All<br><br>I am complete newbie to the site and IVF/ICSI. My DH had testicular cancer which went to stage 3. Thankfully been clear 2.5yrs with a good supply banked.<br><br>My first cycle of ICSI starts about 29th September (day 2). No sniffing for me straight to injections.<br><br>Any advice much appreciated.<br><br>I have a feeling this site may become my life line.<br><br><br>Vicki x

hi vicki<br><br>welcome to the site, i have found it a life line as people you chat to on hear really know what it is like to want a baby.<br>there is always some one who knows the answer to your question,and it is great if you need to let of steam. i'm going for et on thurday so will not be on the tmt with you but wanted to wish you lot's of luck<br><br>from july ann
been in tmt for 4 years.Male factor. Have had 3 icsi, one ivf with donor sperm.Went for fet with 7 eggs but none made it to blastocyst. just had 5 DI. test date 27 july

Hi Vicki - Welcome to the site! I recently joined myself, and can't tell you how wonderful and supportive everyone has been.<br><br>I too just completed my first ICSI/IVF because of male factor, and just received the wonderful news that it worked! Everything else being normal, male factor issues generally have the best chances of success, so stay positive and try not to stress about the process. You've definately found the right place, as everyone is so understanding and willing to answer any questions you might have.<br><br>Lots of luck and keep us posted,<br>Catherine

Hi All<br><br>Catherine that is fanastic news, look after yourself and keep posting. Its news like that keeps me positive. <br><br>The whole process seems to take forever, I was on a waiting list so long just to get my first consultation never mind the fighting for funding in the first place.<br><br>So now I am hoping for the big one - to get Pg first time.<br><br>Thanks for the welcome July Ann, Kat & Sarah.<br><br>Vicki B<br><br><br><br><br><br>
