I'm sorry to post on here. I just thought that you would be in the best position to help me. I hope you can give me some advice.
I have just had my first ICSI which was BFN.

When I went for my initial consultation, my consultant was really positive about a good outcome as I have been pregnant before and have a 13 year old DD. He said that my body "recognises pregnancy" and we shouldn't have any problems. I had 2 ectopics 6 years ago which resulted in the loss of my my tubes. My DH also has very low sperm count (verging on azoospermia). My DD was concieved with a previous partner. The cycle was going great (low FSH, thick womb lining, etc) We managed to get 6 good embies (grade 1's & 2's) and thought we were on to a certain winner!!
Anyway, when we got a BFN, I was distraught!! I guess I felt so certain that it was going to work for us.
I have noticed that a lot of ladies who already have children, tend to have a BFP on their first attempt at tx. I feel that because I haven't, there is something wrong somehow.
Is there anyone out there that already has children, but didn't get a BFP first time?? I guess I just need some positive stories that although a BFP didn't come first time around, it was successful eventually.
Many thanks. Corinna xx
