Hi

I am new to all this, but am lonely at home searching the internet for anything while I wait. I have a 5 year old son and have been trying ever since. We have had 13 IUI's come out negative and then had our first IVF in October be negative. I just had my FET on July 31st and they put in 4 four day embryos. 1 three cell, 1 seven cell and 1 nine cell. I am not sure if those are respectable numbers or not. I am assuming not so much since they let me put all four in. I take my blood test on the 9th. I keep seeing so many happy results so I will join the list.

Thanks for "listening",

Amy

Amy--All it takes is one!! you are about three days ahead of me. I will use you as my marker : )

BFP GIRLS-----YEAH< YEAH< YEAH

Dory--- BEST OF LUCK, THInking of you all day

Good news is that transfered what they call "perfect" embrios yesterday. Two of them. The bummer part is I had none to freeze. I do not want to sound selfish but I think what has been getting me through this is and been able to mentally prepare is that if id does not work (god forbid) I can do a FET. I was devasted yesterday but now staying positive about the two PERFET ONES.

Okay, here are my questions. In anyones experience, do perfect embrios increase odds? My doctor did not totally think so although having a higher grade is better but felt like it is all still up to chance (after eliminating female factors, which is not my issue)

My other questions...Some of you ladies who tested postive (YEAH!!!) did not seem so sure of your postive. My doctor makes me go in for two blood tests and does not give me the results of the first one. They said it has the number has tp rise in order for them to be for sure. I would love to get the results from the first one but it is part of their thing, THEY DONT.

IS that why you are unsure? Are you on your first blood test or second? Does it work differently for you guys? As a side note, I was on different meds then some of you so that may skew my results. I get so confused about it all.

Well, this has been a long enough post

Hope all is well

Love,
Sam

Hi ladies

Dory, am not upset with you for adding my bfp! I am thinking of you today. Everything crossed for you. BFP all the way!

Sam, the reason I am so unsure is that my hpt on my test date showed a negative result and my first blood test was ,acording to my GP, a Low positive. I am having another blood test tomorrow with results on Mon/Tues and am hoping that the level will have increased significantly to confirm an ongoing pregnancy. The HCG levels should double every 48/72 hours I think.

Sending PMA to all August ladies
Take care

Hi Ladies,

Well we are sorry to say it was a BFN for us...............

We are very upset this time, we really were hoping this would be our time.

Dr says there is no reason he can tell us why it didn't work. It could be genetics with the embryos.

We have one chance left as we are running out of embryos. We are going to take a couple of months break and hopefully do a FET in November.

Thank you all for your best wishes, you are an amazing bunch of people, you have helped me no end to get through all this, and i know you will be here to suport me in the future.

Good luck to you all, with testing, transfers, retrivals and anything else you are going through at the moment.

Hugs Rachel OXO

Dory,

So sorry to here about your BFN. I was really very upset.

May be this is not the right time for telling this but I just want to put it out there for the benefit ot others also.

We had 10 good eggs reterived and 9 fertilized and most of them were all good grades (5-A, 3-B and 1-C). We did PGD testing on those embryos and found out that 7 out of 9 Embryos and had problems with their chromosoms and they were no good for transfer. We were shocked to here the result. Our Dr said it is good we went for PGD as we were able to eliminate those abnormanl embryos. We transfered 1 good embryo and froze 1.

LM, TS and Anna Congratulations you have given us hope for the rest of us.

Rachel i am so sorry for you both, it is really hard getting a BFN when everything was fine at ET and then no real reason to get BFN. Best of luck in November when you try again. Keep having faith.x

Jennifer best of luck tommorow.x
