Hi, I would like to thank everyone who has posted as I have found the site a god send, I only found the site on monday and I have my 2 weeks of waiting up on friday ! must admit that like marteen I did a HPT (Predictor) this morning and it was neg,, but reading between the lines that isn't necessarily the case. I am slighyly concerned about the rest that some have had, I took it easy fro the first 5 days, but went back to work and haven't taken it easy at all, I haven't drunk loads of water, we have had sex.. almost straight from the ET......did I do it all wrong ? The first week I was quite positive, but since last friday I have been getting AF pains and feel that it will be neg on friday

and nice words from anyone who has been here and it has been +Ve in the end ? ta Jules

hi jules welcome to the site, hope all goes well for friday are you doing a home pg test or have you got to go for a blood test.with reference about doing it wrong i think if they are going to stick they will no matter what you do.I think it is down to luck and mother nature.a lot of people on the site have had af pains and then been pg,if you look back over the last few months you will see how the other girls felt. so i'm sending you positive vibes for friday all the best july ann

Hi Jules, You can't trust an early hpt, and sometimes can't even trust them when they're on time! The 2WW is the hardest part, especially the last couple of days. As for the AF pains, I'm not sure, but if you've been getting them since last Friday and haven't started to bleed, I'd think it was a good sign. On Monday I just received the wonderful news that I am +ive (by blood test), and had AF pains the Friday and Saturday before. As I am sure you're aware, many woman even bleed the first month or two when they are pregnant. I guess it's your body's way of trying to get AF to visit, but can't because you've got a little one on board. To be honest, I've had AF pains all day today and I must have asked every female in a 10-mile radius if they had the same experience, to which they all answered yes. Anyway, best of luck on Friday. If it helps, I was sure I was a -ive as well before testing, and have heard the same from many others who have tested ++tive. Sending you lotsa PMA, Catherine

Hi Jules, Just wanted to wish you all the very, very best of luck on Friday. Don't worry too much about pains. Like many others, I've had dull pains, sharp cramps and bleeding, but have now reached 12 weeks! Try not too knock yourself about what you have and haven't done - your body would tell you to stop if it needed to. You've done the right thing to try and carry on as usual, and as I've been told, mother nature is in control and what will be, will be. Take care Zoe x
