A big Mega Hi and Hugs to everyone else...sorry my sweeties that i have no time for personals...Am busy packing and clearing out. Then this afternoon i am heading off to view some properties...My MS has been flooring me. vertigo was so bad i was mega sick and had to have 4 days in bed...anyway have new meds (from the homoepath and hope after travelling i wont be too bad.

Hi all

I'm back from my lovely hols and ...

Well here's the news. It was a .... BFN after all.

AF showed on my test date late in the afternoon. A good 2 and a half almost 3 days late and 17 days after iui which is very late to get AF after ovulation. All the literature says (and the nurse) that AF shows 12-16 days after ovulation. I was really starting to think it was a BFP.

The nurse said she though I might have had a biochemical pregnancy, where I got as far as cell division but then the embryo didn't implant . This would have explained the cramps I had all day, 2 days after iui and my late period.

So my 2nd attempt is next Sunday there or there about with bloods starting this wednesday. Am hopeful that what has happened with this one is a good sign

Its my 8th wed ann today so off to organise a nice meal to cook for dh, Sorry no personals but really pushed for time and have so much catching up to do on here! Will try catch up later or over the next couple of days. Love to all

Nicki 9 days to go, how are you feeling? I know what you mean about trying not to think too much about the 2ww, its impossible though isn’t it. Just stay positive it will be your turn.

Julie you must feel that you have a new lease of life now that you can drive again.

Lucy I am so sorry that you are having such a tough time at the moment, its perfectly understandable how you feel. I wish I could say something that would make you feel better. Sending huge hugs your way.

I had my first scan today and saw the heart beating. The nurse described it (or her as I keep referring to the embryo as!) as a Baked bean with a heart beat. She is 12mm long and due on the 28th March. I still can’t believe its finally worked for me after all these years.

LUBY - Hi. Not sure if had FSH done before.....had blood test on 2nd day of cycle last year and the results were "normal". Wasn't educated with te lingo then so didn't question it. Period due today. I have never gone further than 26 days for over 12 months and this time it looks like I am going to be late! Typcial as got romantic weekend away.......Hope you are ok. When is your next appt?

3 weeks to clinic appointment and cant wait!!!! DH is get nervy as there will be up to 80 couples there (just to intoduce us to hospital and treatment stuff) and he hates being public about it, at the moment anyway...

Was going to post that PMA is low. However since reading about me being mummy in 1 week i am feeling better, just having alow day i guess, Boobs are sore however boobs quite often get sore before AF, so not reading anything into that yet??

Does anyone know what actually causes boobs to get sore?? Is it hormones?? Which hormone??? At what stage to they get sore? implantation stage? Fertilation stage?? Is it the HCG that causes it??
