Well I hopefully have a story to all get you PYL - is that the one for Piss Yourself Laughing?! As we live in the mountains in Switzerland, each time we take a sperm sample (sorry forgotten the abbreviation for that one!) down the mountain in the winter I have to keep it in a bobble hat under my arm and then try to drive myself down the windy mountain road making sure it keeps warm and with all the bends in the road that the sample stays upright... phew ... what an effort and the 3 IUIs I have still havent worked! But Im trying to keep a PMA and have my first IVF in autumn as thought I would give myself a break over the summer. Im still waiting for someone to tell me the do's and donts about whether I can still go to the gym prior to IVF treatment and whether I should cut out all caffeine and alcohol a month b4 I start the treatment etc - my dr. always says it doesnt matter and to carry on as normal, within moderation but Im not so sure as can see on this site that lots of people seem to not go to the gym and do no lifting or anything whilst they are waiting for the IVF result - is this all true?
