Hi all,

hope everyone is progressing well, it's been quiet around here lately. Me i have been keeping myself amused by tidying up and painting the hall, i am so pleased it is nearly finished.

My hospital are arranging for me to have a sizeing scan, so i am looking forward to seeing 'bubble' again. I'm not sure why they are doing it but i dont mind, hopefully we will get to see more of him/her this time!!!

hey danie..OMG thank-you so much for sharing those pictures i actually started to tear up my daughter and where both in awe of course i got mom are you going to be able to tell wethere its a boy or a girl at your next ultrasound??? im only 13 wks 4 days so im really not sure...those are absolutly amazing (everybodys are) !!!! I hope everyone is well im starting to realize there will be no more squeezing into what where my fat girl jeans lolol time to start hitting the maternity stores...have any of you guys read belly laughs by jenny mcarthy??? truly a quick read and i laughed out loud..it was a really fun book im sure for all of you that are in your 6 th or 7th month you will be lol for hours !!!!--my best to all Kell

Kelley, I read Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy too. It is a quick read and very funny. She sure tells it like it is. The "pooping on the delivery table" was a chapter that makes me worried!

Sue, I'm getting another scan too. I'm having the fasting blood sugar test this week to check for gestational diabetes (I guess it's routine here to do it on everyone). Then in 2 weeks I have the scan.

Oh my gosh ladies...Mel, Sue, Ahart & Bella....aren't we in our 3rd T as of this week now? Oh my goodness! I can't believe it. Where did time go?

So much going on, that would be like me to be missing out on all the X rated conversation. Which would be about right actually. Given our bedroom sees about as much action a nunnery. Poor DH!

Heck are we really in the third tri? When does it officially start? Is it 28 weeks or sooner? Have to admit, has been feeling like its still eons away, but then realised that will be finishing work in 10 or 11 weeks. Wow!

I have to figure out how to post on photo bucket. How do you do this? And is it me being nosy, but it would be really awesome to actually see what YOU guys look like! So would be cool if you guys posted pics of mum along with bump. Or do we save this for post birth!!

Hope everyone is well. On the gender and 'disappointment thing', I am really a bit nervous that my DH is going to be disappointed when he finds out we are having a girl. Really think might I have gotten myself in a fix, coz hes convinced its a boy, and a boy is really what I know he would prefer. Advice?

Mel, I asked my doc about how the Trimester's work...he said there are 13 weeks in each (total of 39 weeks..not sure where the extra week falls). So I believe week 26 hits the 2nd T then. That's us! Maybe we should stay here for a couple more before we jump to 3rd T thread, like we did when we jumped 1st to 2nd.

Mel, does your DH know that you know it's a girl? I forget. Maybe you should find a way to talk him into wanting to know now. I know if I went through the whole 9 months wishing something other than what it ends up, I might feel disappointment at delivery (although they say at delivery you are so in love with the baby that it doesn't matter). I'm glad I'm having this time to get used to the idea of two boys.

I'd love to share belly pictures too! I'll play with that tonight and see if I can post one on photobucket.

Hi everyone! Danielle congrats on the boy!

Krista - I just checked out photobucket. You look adorable!!

I posted a shot of me that a coworker took a few days ago when I hit 20 weeks. Of course, since it was a male coworker, I did not lift my shirt up. I will have DH take a real belly shot soon and I will post that.

I am happy most of you are in the 3rd tri. now - although I will miss you for the next 6 weeks until I join you.

One more week until I find out what I am having. I am getting nervous! I was sure it was a girl, now I am having "boy vibes".
Go figure...

I can't believe we are nearly at the 3rd tri, its starting to seem more real now.

Kristi - does diabetes run in your family or are you more likely to get it with twins? I have that test on the 21st because i am overweight i am more prone to it. Nice picture by the way.

Got the dates for my sizing scans, i was shocked that there are 4, my first one is beginning of sept and then at 2 weeks intervals and there was me worrying about having my last scan at 20 weeks. When my belly looks more like a baby belly and not just flab, i will post a picture.

Back on a previous subject of sex, my DH would think christmas has come if we were getting hot and sweaty under the duvet!!!! He is lucky if it happens once a fortnight (more like a month).

Lisa - will be good to see if your boy vibes are correct, how exciting.

Sue, glad you defined "once a fortnight". I would have thought you were having sex every night! Oh my, 4 scans for the sizing scans, wow! Sounds like fun! No, no diabetes in my family. From what I can tell they just automatically do the test without any questions asked.
