August Testing

Hey Ladies!

I have a quick question... is anyone else feeling the need to go to the bathroom every hour or so? I am not sure if a bladder infection is common with IVF/FET, but thankfully it doesnt hurt... just annoying. Anyone Anyone?? I am about to buy some stock in charmin!

Hi Amy,

The same thing is happening to me. I can't stop weeing, I thought it was just me, but looks like your suffering the same thing, as you said it doesn't hurt, but it's still a pain having to go to the loo so often. Hopefully someone on here may know why this is happening and let us know.

Ladies one night i went to the loo every 1/2 hour and i was 4 kilos lighter in the morning!!!!! i had put on so much weight from all the water i was drinking and then my body was storing it but it all then came away at once!!!! i am still constantly going to the loo. How much fluid are you drinking???? the clinic kept telling me to drink more and at one point i was up to 7 litres but at least i am now back to about 4 litres a day.

it is nothing to worry about just keep drinking it is seemingly good for you and helps to get your levels right.

Wow, that's a lot of water your drinking, at the moment I'm struggling to drink 2Ltrs. I keep forgetting to drink it, but I'm still doing loads of wee wees. My clinic told me to drink 2Ltrs a day.

Hi sorry this is really quick. I got a BFN last week on my hols in Italy but trying again next Sunday for 2nd iui so I really am a true Aug buddy now! Will be testing again on around 30th August. Will catch with everyone when I have abit more time

Girls- I am so glad someone posted the bathroom questions. I go every hour on the hour. I can not make it through the night without waking up every hour to go.

I was not sure if that was typical or normal, appearntly it is common. Wow, these posts are great to get questions answered.

Thank goodness I am not the only one up at night going!! I feel like no more than ten minutes after I go I feel it starting up again... I just cant seem to figure out if it is a side effect of the drugs or if I should go in for a bladder infection. I did take some cranberry pills this morning just in case, so I will let you all know if it helps at all.

I posted on the other thread, but yesterday I did get a positive. I am excited but nervous as my beta HCG was only 14. We go back in tomorrow to check it again. Good luck to everyone else waiting to test, and thank you for the good luck wishes!!

WOW. look at all these bfp already. I havent been on here for a while. i got my bfp on the june testers. it brought it all back to me how exiting it is when your waiting for your test date, plus how can i forget being an emotional wreck. it truely is amazing. i remember doing that evil pee stick. i was soooooooooo waiting for a BFN. I was all prepered for my next go waiting for af. Then the 2 lines appeared and i nearly dropped dead. i was shaking and crying that much i couldnt even keep hold of the test. well done ladies and congratulations. ive noticed the last few months there are lots and lots of bfp. The odds are supposeto be 1 in 5. i belive the sucsess rates are going higher and higher.
im so sorry to all the ladies who werent as fortunate this time, i no no words could make you feel better. This was the case for a few of my june tester friends, we are all here when you need us to help to get you through. the good thing is your time will come around in no time. They are all ready for round 2 and are having treatment once a gain now. i no all your dreams will come true next time.
