just had a look at the pictures, you all look great and very glamorous!
I'm looking pretty frumpy at almost 20 weeks, spotty and dull hair!
I don't mind though, just focusing on my baby doing dances in my belly. I haven't gotten over the shock of it moving around yet, I love it!

thanks everyone for the advice on breast feeding. thats a big help. I think I'm going to do both.......the baby will get used to it!

sex...........whats that? I forget? Poor dh.

How is everyone doing? I am doing well except for carpal tunel in both wrists alot of swelling. Oh yea and the feet, well they are pretty mad at me for gaining all this weight. lol. I am going for my 3d/4d ultrasound tonight I will try to post them I am so excited. Well talk with y'all later.

All the pics look so cute! I'm so glad to finally put faces to the names...thank you thank you! I posted one from 20 weeks, as I haven't taken the 24 week one off my camera yet.

I am on the 'loving sex' side of the coin. DH and I just had a weekend away in a romantic cabin, with a fire (it is winter & cold here...unlike the heat in the northern hemisphere...). So, the rest is obvious!

I think I have 1 more week before 3rd tri, but if I lose you all to the other thread, I may have to go over there earlier! Work is very stressful and am so tempted to leave earlier....

Sue - I have diabetes in my family, so I have to have the test as well. Next week I think it is...

tHi girls-
Boy am I jealous of the action you gals are getting!!! I feel bad for dh because I am not in the mood at all. I cannot get over having a baby inside of me while having sex. I know that I just need to get over it!!
Well, we cheated and opened the sealed envelope containing the gender of our baby. Dh snuck it out of the chart at the docs office!!! We were like too giddy kids peeking at Christmas presents! After holding it up to the light and shaking up the envelope, we saw it. It is a .......................................................girl!!!!!

It was a great moment. Although I think that dh really wanted a boy and is going through gender dissapointment. Krista, it was nice to hear how you felt on the subject. I am overjoyed with girl or boy. Hopefully when he sees that beautiful face that only has eyes for her daddy, he will change his mind.

On the bright side of things, baby girl is so active!!!! She is kicking me all day and night and I love it!! How about ya'll??

Heather - congratulations!!! Yayyyy!! My little girl jumps around all the time too.

I think it's so good to have all this time before the birth to get used to having a girl. We had gender disappointment - it's my dream to one day have a little boy. But now, I am so excited about my little girl that I actually got really upset when I heard a few people tell me that they had mis-diagnosed girls (doc said it was a girl, but turned out it was a boy and they had just 'missed' the boy bits during the scan). I really want my little girl, and DH cannot wait to have a daddy's little girl. He already says when I am lying on the couch "Hello my 2 favourite girls!" So, DH will be better for knowing now.

I never thought I would be a 'pink' mum, but I can't help it. There are so many cute little girl things, and DH thinks I buy them all. I have been a bit bad, but as I keep telling DH, she needs clothes!

How many weeks are you Heather?

Girls,

Congratulations!! As for the gender disappointment - we need some girls first of all!! Secondly guys generally go through this but my friend had her little girl back in december and although her DH wanted a boy, they both immediately feel in love when they saw here sweet face - so hang in there!

Hi All..I am back from my trip to the US and totally exhausted...no more big trips until the baby arrives. I had a really nice time with my parents and got totally spoiled. My mom also had a surprise baby shower..I literally have 2 huge suitcases filled with baby girl clothes.

I will catch up with everyone tomorrow when I am more awake

Madiva & Jessica - great scan pics of your baby!!

Bella - great pic of you! Glad you posted it. It's fun to see what people look like after feelng like we all get to know each other so well. I'm jealous that you are in "pink land". I love pink! I'll spare my boys from having to wear it though, and maybe just buy more pink for myself instead.

Heather - congrats on the girl! I can just picture you both peaking in the envelope! How fun!

Tracii - I'm so happy to hear you had the surprise shower. Wasn't it great? (Remember I had a surprise one too last month). Can't wait to hear more about it.

hi girls...

is it legal for me to post here yet?.... .....feels as if the weeks are dragging in...suppose thats because we all found out early...ive known since 8days past transfer...

my sister bought me a gift for my babies....to start me off....2 little t-shirts...1 says 'i love mummy' the other 'i love daddy'....i will wait a few more weeks before i start buying .....

i did splash out on myself though....lol....a few pair of bridget jones style knickers....not very fashionable but very comfy....cant believe my waist has grew so much...from size 10 and now these georgous knickers are size 14-16....i must post a pic of my belly.....i suppose its something to look back at.....and laugh ...

Hey girls-
Thanks to your comments, I feel much better about "gender dissapointment". I talked to a couple of fellow preggers here and it happened to them too yet they were the ones who wanted boys.
So, all is well now!! Bring on the pink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
