What a great board this is for finding out all sorts of information and meeting people who are going through a similar thing.
I've been married for five years and have been trying for a baby for that long.
I have no fallopian tubes after having them removed recently and also have a recurrent problem with pelvic abcesses and infections in my abdomen due to Crohns disease ( a bowel disease).
I've also got lots and lots of adhesion due to all the surgeries I have had over the past 8 years, and have also had my large intestine removed - yuk.
However, I've now got this chance at IVF which I'm delighted about as the infertility thing has been harder on me than any health problem I've had, as I'm sure many of you will agree with.
I'm excited and positive, and just glad I've got some sort of chance.

I am 28 and I will be starting my 1st and only cycle of IVF soon. I will start my birth control pills this Sunday or Sept 3. I am very nervous. I had my tubes tied about 6 years ago because I had very difficult pregnancies and 6 miscarrages. We currently have two beautiful boys and are hoping for anything healthy! Good luck to all of you on your roads to motherhood.
