Rach I am guessing you are probably still on holiday but thought I would bring this back to the top. Yes my local hospital is Colchester, I just phoned them and asked to speak to heamotology, no one was available so left a message, I got a call about 30 minutes later from a locum who is normally based as Barts in London. Anyway she was great and was very interested in my story, didnt think that highly of thses NK cell shaving much to do with failed IVF nor Dr Beer but she said she was happy for them to be done. I just asked my IVF clinic to call them and arrange it. I went the following week with the form my IVF clinic and had the test done. I had the results about a week later. Still dont know how much is was going to cost as no one has charged me yet, but having said that when I told them Dr Beer charges £250 for them she did comment that it would be peanuts compared to that. Perhaps its worth calling Ipswich first, I should think that they all do it if you delved deep enough as they test this for arthritis. If not I can always dig out the phone number I called. Nat, Just wanted to say thanks for the info. Had an appointment at our clinic this Friday and they said that the miscarriage was caused by a chromosome problem, so doesn't look like a NKC issue afterall. Hope you are o.k. Take Care, Rach X
