Ladies,

Update....

EC is going to be Monday not Saturday...somewhere in the distance I can hear hubby cheering..now he can watch Manchester City FC get beaten again by FC Porto.

Clinic decided to ride me out on a low dose for another few days and try and get some smaller ones up to meet the rest. 10 are mature now and 4 are a little behind but will be fine by Monday. Possibly a few others hidden too, who knows!

I've finished that book I told you about "The Stork Club". It really is a great read. I got bored reading all the technical stuff about IVF, not to mention that it freaks me out but this book is such a great story and makes you feel proud about the strength we show to take us through this IVF Journey over and over again. It is so funny too. Every woman will see herself in this story at some point.

Jackie, If you can't get the book in the states, let me know and I will post you mine.

Hi ladies,

Just thought i would pop in and see how everyone is doing......

It's getting close for lots of you and i want to wish you all the luck in the world for your, retrivals, transfers, and 2ww, i pray all your dreams come true, and get strong BFP's at the end of it all.

I'd like to thank all of you for my well wishes and kind thoughts, i would never have got through the past year or so with out all you wonderful ladies and gents. You are all amazing and couragous people and i feel like you are family to me.

You were on about books, well I can recommend a book by Iris Waichler called "Riding the Infertilty Roller Coaster"

It is very educating, but not in a technical way, she has been through IVF, there are some real life storys of peoples experiences in it too..

Also a web site to it www.infertilityrollercoaster.com

Paula - I'm glad you got the dummies book and found it helpful, we did, especially hubby... you know men, need the facts as simple as possible

Well good luck all
Take care

Hi ladies. How are we all today?

It's been really weird weather today. Sunny one minute, blustery rain the next. That's terrible news about the terrorist plot. Thank god it was stopped!

Angela - I think I started feeling tired after about a week. As I said I'm not sure if it's anything to do with the drugs or the fact that I go to bed late coz I'm watching celb love island!!!!!!! I also don't have to get up early coz I'm on holiday. I have been for the last 5 and a half wks!!! I'm a teacher so loads of hols. bliss!! My AF was 3 days late. I'm always bang on with the dates except when starting the treatments.

Lisa - well done of the follie count! I ordered the book yest from Amazon and another 1 that was recommended by them 'Baby Roulette'

Jackie - DH works away a month at a time - home a month, away a month. Not very good when you're doing IVF!!

Dory (my July buddy) how are you? Do you watch BBC America? When we were in Cuba I used to watch it when I came in from the beach - Cash in the Attic! How sad was I?

Hi to everyone else. Take care. Paula x Image

Hi lovely girls… :D :D

For Newbie here 'hi' :D . Good luck on your treatment. God Bless in everything you do.

Lisa :D , Good luck with EC. Everything seems well. Thanks for book info. I’ll pray twins for you. I used to like ‘girl’ so badly. But I have a special order from MIL for boy. It’s another stupid culture. So, I also hope for twins. Sending u sticky baby dust for u n DH.

Debz honey :D , thanks. Congrat on your weight lost. So happy for you, little bit jealous :D . I totally forget about Cheese and Yogurt. I better start to like veggie. I have been taking Folic Acid 400mg only. If I want to take 1600mg, do I have to take 4 tablets directly or separate them? I also read your posting about FSH You mention not taking primrose oil on cycle. When exactly I stop? Right after baseline? I also take Fish oil (ALA,EPA,DHA, Linoleic Acid, GLA, Oleic Acid), Vit E 200 IU, Vit C 1000mg. My DR didn’t tell about them. I bought them based from what I learnt here.

Jackie :D , Miss u a lot. You are the best on Accu. I skip so many sessions, I hate those needles. I hope you are luckier in your Accu than me in my walking :( .

Emma :D , You said ‘Baseline is to check whether you are "switched off" after downregging’ I don’t do downgred. I think I start directly to baseline. Is it okay? Is it normal? What ur DR gave u on downgred?

For everybody has read Zita :D . Do you think I should buy it? First, I didn’t want to buy, because I was afraid become more panic. I was afraid to find million things I have not done. It is so tempting now that I want to read that ‘popular book.’ Since my time is coming, do you thing it is worthy to buy or just making me more crazy?

Thanks everybody. :D Happy weekend. In next hour I am attending my second ‘6 years birthday party’ on this 2 weeks. Their mothers are my best friend. I will be the only one at the party coming alone. But sure I will have so much fun. I hope it will bring luck by attending child party, since one of birthday boy is IVF child….. HAPPY WEEKEND… :D :D

Well, as you all can tell, I am terrible at keeping up.

Aunty, to answer your question from a few days ago...No, I have not ever watched footballers wives, but I have always been curious. Not sure if it's true or not, but in our house...football is serious business. I have gotten in the routine of knowing what to say and when and if we lose a game...I just don't talk to dh at all until he's had a good while to recover!

Lisa...EC is almost here!!! I'll say some extra prayers for you, cross my fingers and toes and wish lots lots of baby dust for you! Good luck! Can't wait to hear how many you get!

Morning ladies...
Hope everyone is well today - HAPPY FRIDAY!
Well, nothing is ever straightforward with me. I phoned the clinic for my baseline blood results this morning as instructed, and guess what.... there has been a problem in the lab and they won't be back until Monday! Nurse said it should be fine as they are just confirming what the scan showed yesterday but I guess now I have that little niggling doubt all over the weekend. Still, she said I wouldn't be starting stims til Monday anyhow so it won't mess anything up.
So, I am going to be positive and add my tentative stim start date to the list. PMA PMA PMA!!!!
Good luck to you all wherever you are in your tmt.

Hiya ladies,

It appears I am having signs of mild hyperstimulation. My reading today was over 15000 which worries the clinic. I have been taken off the stims and left only with the buserelin. They are hoping my E2 doesn't go any higher.

Hopefully I will still get to EC and maybe ET. If it gets worse then who knows what happens.

Say a prayer for me girls...I'm worried.
