Hi Ladies--

I just had to share this with all of you. I work with children and today at work this one little boy (out of nowhere says to me) "Would you be happy if you found out you were pregnant?" I was so stunned by the question I said, "Yeah, I guess I would" (Of course, I'd be estatic). Then he asks, "what if you were having twins"? I was about to fall on the floor! I told him, "I would be the happiest person on earth!" He proceeded to tell me that when he grows up, he wants his wife to have twins!

It's funny because I asked god to send me a sign that all was ok (with my cyst) and that this is going to be successful. I believe the he has sent me a few different signs. One being the story that I mentioned! I just wanted to share so we can take a moment to honor His glory!

Stay positive!

Lola - Thats why I love to read your post! You always make me smile. :D My DH is was happy as well. Thank you sooooo much for the IVF link. I started to watch it and can't wait to finish it. I just wanted to say thanks.

Wannababy - I loved your story, it brought tears to my eyes. God always has ways of letting us know things will be okay. I am so happy things are looking up for you. You are a strong woman, I think I would be a wreak if it wasn't for women like you who inspire me to stay positive!

Well its official! Saturday is my ER date. I take two injections tonight at 10:00pm. The RE said it has to be exactly 36 hours before the ER. I'm sure they are gonna hurt!

Happy Thoughts

OMG, OMG, OMG-- I think I got a BFP!

Like I have said in the strand before my clinic does not give results until the second blood test to make sure it rises. Today was my first BT and I called and begged ( I also brought in bagels to bribe). They told me they are very confident that I am pregnant but just to stay "cautiously optimistic" but to go out and celebrate because they are pretty darn sure!!

My numbers were either 46 or 48, I can not remember now. I still have HCJ injection fluid in me as I had to do three shots of it but they still feel my number is high. Any Input from those who know?

Anyhow, OMG, OMG, OMG. I actually have been singing and floating all day. I am waiting to tell others until Sunday but thank god for this website where i can share the happy news NOW. Keep fingers crossed.

Yaaaaaahoooooo! :D Congrats Sam!! It's a definate BFP, I know it!

Wannababy, what a cool thing. Children say and do the most amazing things sometimes. It must be a sign from above :)

Thanks Lola for the video. Very interesting. Didn't get far yet, but I bookmarked the site. My video stream sometimes get quirky and is hard to watch for too long :?

Shapooh, Let us know how the injections went. Wishing you the best and many good eggs saturday. Good Luck!

Shapooh-how was that shot? Let us know how everything goes.

Lola--I can't wait to exchange photos this time next year!

Hopeful--I truly believe that was a sign

I'm feeling good--I had my u/s and bw today. The doctor said that I looked much better than Wednesday and everything looks good. According to my nurse, my FSH is 3.5. My acupuncturist will be glad to hear that! I'm going to a comedy show tomorrow night. I'm looking forward to having a good time to give my mind a rest from all of this! I hope each of you are staying positive! Hang in there!

Sam - Congratulations!!! I am very Happy for you.

Gals- I already completed my Birth Control Pills on 7th. I was supposed to start my stimulations(on 12th) after I get my period(on 11th today). I didn't get my periods. My Dr. asked me to start my stimulations even if I don't get my periods.

Has anybody been in a similar situation? What did ur Dr. recommend? I am worried and I think my Dr. just doesn't want to change his initial plans/scedule that he created for me. Any suggestions what should I do?

Champa --- I got my period today and I am not starting my stimulation until next week. I am on double shots of Lupron now and they told me I may get my period during this time or may not, or I may just have a light spotting. Well my period is pretty heavy today(sorry girls) so I don't think the period really matters, they look at your estrogen level and your ovaries. Even though I remember Alicia and Wannababy had to start their period before their stimulation. So I guess it depends on the medications and the clinic... I would trust your doctor though, I believe he is doing what's the best for you  I will ask someone about it though and let you know...

Wannababy - I am glad you are doing well with your FSH and that you stay so positive. I have like 3 parties to attend this weekend so am looking forward to that as well. And I have another check up on Tuesday. I hope my cyst will be gone and my levels OK so I can finally start my stimulation :o I was supposed to start today...

Alicia - how was the shot yesterday at 10pm? I actually thought of you like at 9:45 thinking you must be getting ready for it. It's tomorrow, wow!!! Good luck again!!!!! :D

Hopeful (or should I say Mia) ---- looks like everything is working out for you as well, good luck with your u/s tomorrow and I hope you start your stimulation right away. :D

Sam --- how are you feeling, any PG symptoms yet?

I agree Lola, different stimulations have different course of action. I am not on Lupron. I am on a high Gonal F dose. My clinic has 4 different types of IVF programs. I am on one of the most aggressive ones due to my FSH issue.
I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that I may get my periods later today. I think I have no other option other than to keep faith my Dr.

Champa---No worries about your period, same thing happened at my clinic. After I stoped b/c I was to go in for an ultra sound on day two of my period. We waited a few days and when I did not get it they just said they were starting anyway. It is totally normal. I got my period a few days later. You are in good shape.

The rest of your girls...how exciting! It is starting to roll. You are well on your way. Even though it is all hard and emotional isn't it kinda exciting. I am so solution focused so I loved the fact that we had this problem (not conceiving) and the doctors validated it and got the ball rolling. Of couse I would have rather had no problems but I felt like FINALLY a means to an end!!

No pregancy signs as of yet, I am still cramping a bit. Doctor told me not to worry. I really feel like I can not admit I am pregnant until I go in on Sunday for my final blood test. After that one, I will celebrate and talk to all about the signs I felt.

Lots of love

Sam- (((HUGS))) I am sooooo excited for you. I was actually jumping in my chair when I read your post! Congratulations and you have to send me pictures of your beautiful babies. You are truly blessed!!!

Lola - You are so sweet! The shot wasn't that bad, it was a few hours later it was pretty sore. It will all be worth it though right?

Mia - Thanks for your happy vibes and good luck at your u/s.

Wannababy - I am really glad to hear things are going smoothly, and I hope you have tons of fun and the comedy show!

Champa - I don't know any different than starting after your period, but I know when I started the injections my period faded quickly (like in two days). I'm sure your RE knows and everything will be okay. :D

Thanks again girls for all the support! Keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I hope this board is 100% all the way, then we can start the next board together.

Love you all,
Alicia

Sam, after hearing your case I am feeling much better and am not worried now. Thanks and all the best for your test on Sunday :)

Alicia - I agree that RE knows more than me. As so much is on stake, I get worried when something doesn’t happen as expected. Thanks..

Alicia- Good luck at egg retrieval. I am not sure why but it was my favorite part of the whole process. Or course with the exception og getting a postive pregnancy report.
