A Glass of Wine

Post by Mazy++ »

Hi Everyone,
Okay, I haven't been on in a little while, and I'm so glad to hear so many success stories!!! I started my stim shots three days ago, so far things are going all right. I have had a few headaches though from the Lupron I guess, I saw that in Lola's post so maybe that is a common side effect? Now I have another question, my ER is going to be in about a week and last night I had a glass of wine with dinner. All right, it may not be a big deal but I'm freaking out...I just felt I ought to enjoy myself before I REALLY can't have any and I thought one glass wouldn't be a big deal, and it probably isn't but I'm freaking out!!! Does anyone have any calming words of advice? Oy...maybe the hormones are making me crazy.
Thank you thank you thank you.

Hi Mazy - I'm sure you're fine, my dr didn't officially tell me to avoid any & all alcohol until ET. The hormones really do a number on us, don't they?! You can think something is okay one minute, then freak out about it the next....bottom line, you can relax and know you are perfectly normal!!

Not to worry, When I was stimming I was told I could drink a glass of wine by my doctors. Relax, in all honesty it could have helped calm the nerves.

Good luck

My Dr said okay to caffeine ( I still didn't do too much) and motrine up until ET so I think your good.

Thank you so very much for your replies and words of encouragement. Its those "what ifs" that drive me crazy. I have just a few days left until ER. It is so so great to have this board to share our hopes and fears, and have so much support. My best wishes are with you all.
