Hiya ladies,

I had another scan this morning and I have 16 mature follicles hanging out in there. My bloods soared to 19000...yikes!!! but my consultant seems happy to still go ahead with retrieval on Monday morning as long as I don't become sick in the meantime. So it's the big injection tonight at 21:30 and I hope all is ok. If my OHSS gets worse then I will not have the replacement this cycle but have them put in another time. I am cool with that as long as it works.

Hi Girls

Jeck, Hi My weekend was ecxellent. I was supprised at the party that my friends showed their support for me. One of them makes me cry with her words. I don't know may be i'm to much thinking everything as a good sign. Beside the birthday boy, i also met his cousin firstime who also IVF boy. Also introduced to a mom having twins from IUI. I know it means nothing but i like to think as a good sign for me to get exiciting and PMA all the time.
Jeck, wish u all the best for ur next cycle. I followed ur last cycle. It's good that you keep PMA and start again, i am praying that this time is ur dream come true. i think the way ur DR gave u disc for me is very strong good sign. God also gave me a good sign couple months ago when firstime i decided to do IVF . Although i shame very much, that i cried at clinic.

Jackie hun how you doing?, i didnt go out after all it got cancelled so i went to my friends house to help her with some hats and gift bags for her nephews 1st birthday (they came out really cool too) i went to the party today it was very cute lots of babies and kids ooo and best of all ice cream and cake, im feeling so optomistic sooo looking forward to starting now im looking into accu next week i think it may help and worth a try...

I had my baseline U/S and bloodtest today. Everything looks good and we got the go ahead to start stims tonight. The ultrasound shows 13 follies. My doc says it's a good start. I was hoping for at least 15 but I'm happy with 13. Is it possible to grow more follies during stims?

Only 5 days before I start Suprefact nasal spray (Lupron)! Getting nervous. This will be our first and most likley our last attempt at FET. The financial expense is crazy let alone the emotional part of it. A friends friend had triplets as a reult of FET! WOW! All healthy.. I can't imagine!
Never did FET before so I guess the unknown is scary. I was reading over the time table for my treatment and I have to take 81mg of ASA (aspirin) a day starting on day 1 of Suprefact. The ASA increases lodd flow to the ovaries and uterus making for a more successful pregnancy! Didn't know this before!

Well I did it The shots wern't bad at all. I did use ice and analgestic/antiseptic stuff to numb the skin. For some reason the Follistim stung and was sore awhile after, still slightly this morning. It was the first shot and I think DH was still getting his bearings. I think he forgot to pinch my skin before pricking. A little blood came out when he drew out the needle. The Menopur was the one I was dreading. DH had to chase me around a bit, but finally I layed on my stomach on the bed, I called my little Min Pin over to give me some love and as she gave me snuggles DH finished before I even felt a thing!

Good girl with getting through the shots.. They will get easier as time goes on.. Just think once you get your BFP it will be all worth it..

Aunty how sweet of you to help with the b-day party.. You will have loads of practice with all those little ones for your BFP.. I think Acc is worth it even just to help with stress...

I want to check in. I have only posted once before...and I see that I am on your list (I was so touched!) I read and follow all your stories...and am so happy to have this board.

I just started 10 of Lupron injections today. The needle was super tiny and did not hurt one bit, but it was so odd giving myself an injection. At the same time, I am so happy to have actually started this part...as I know it means I am getting closer.

Baseically...I am tentatively scheduled for my retrieval on Sept 3. They like to do it on Sundays if you are going to get PGD, which we are.

I am nervous/excited etc...

I am so sensitive to hormones, I am just nervous to get more and more of them. I already am freaking out emotionally just from the birth control.

Hey...I didn't know there was a nasal spray you can take for lupron! Wish I could do that instead of injections.

Hi everyone

Well I have now done 8 shots of Buesline and have got 10 more to go before my baseline scan. AF should in theory arrive today but no sign of her yet, typical. At the moment I think we are looking at EC being sometime in the week beggingin 4/9 which will be wonderful as we are planning to take the whole week off work. We have a big function on at work the next week so if we get deleayed by a week there might be problems.

I have been reading the do's & don'ts board today. I have also read zita's book so thought that you needed total bed rest for 4 days. How long is everyone else planning on bed rest. I think maybe a couple of days. As I say we are planning on having the whole week off work and DH has suggested going to a nice hotel for a few days, with just some very gentle sight seeing. How do the rest of you plan to spend the 2ww.
