Hiya girlies,

Well out of my 12 eggs, they injected 8 of them (ICSI) and 7 of them fertilised. I'm really pleased as that is a 90% fertilisation rate.

Don't know yet when my transfer will be, maybe tomorrow or Thursday latest (subject to no OHSS symptoms beforehand) Will update later and catch up properly with everyone.

Fingers crossed ladies.

Macca....I am so excited for you.. You will have to say well done you to your DH for the fertilzation.. That is a great #... Just rest up and don't worry about posting that much.. You can catch up during your 2ww :D :D :D

Islacraig
I was told to take the baby asprin and even after my miscarrgage my accupuncterist told me to keep taking it.. I found these chewable orange flavored ones.

Aunty
I am with you and I am going to tell my boss that all this work is getting in the way of chatting.. :D :D Aunty I know you had done a lot of reading so maybe you can give me some information or advice.. My doc has decided to do a short phase.. They are thinking probably no AF  so they will give me a shot to bring her on. We are thinking she could arrive after taking the shot maybe around 1st or 2nd week in September ( I have to wait until after the 9th as I will be at my Brother in laws wedding) anyway so if it starts the 12th or so they are thinking poss ec and er the week of the 19th of September.. That seems so quick and no birth control before hand.. It just worries me because it is so quick and last time the #'s were not very good.. anyway enough ranting for me...

To all the other lovely ladies..
love and hugs

Good Morning,

Ange thats great but you have to try to think about it as 8 days and you start the grow my baby medicine and with every shot your baby is one step closer .. do you know what i love about the stimms after a few days you start to feel you ovies and you know thats your baby in there and your feeding it the good stuff  im excited i cant wait, i will be taking baby asprin this time to aid with implantation i may be remebering this wrong but i think my dr said we wouldnt be starting it until after collection will let you know after the meeting with my nurse (note to self "set up meeting with nurse) :D

Ems cool about the asprin gave me the push to be phoning my clinic i forgot this time i have my financial tomorrow (thats supposed to be done a month in advance)lol << debz is a ding bat

wow Lisa 7 is fantastic and your right thats a really high rate...im so pleased you dont have OHSS keep drinking water lots of it ... will be thinking of you

Jackie brilliant i didnt want to say anything before (you know me and your clinic have different oppinions  ) that is the perfect cycle for you (your right i did read up a lot) for your needs you should have much better response its something to do with why down reg you when your body has already done that part ... by down regging you again your too surpressed to respond at least this way you will be starting the race from the same position we are in... so pleased to hear that, now i just need you to say your on Gonal f and i will be a happy bunny...LOL although maybe follistim will respond better this time so dont fret if they refuse my diagnosis

lots of love Debz

Jackie,That the protocol I have done (short). Down regging me never worked too well. My body took far to long to come back from it which is why the short protocol was much better. You down reg on min dose for 1 day and then stim for another 10 approx. I've done ok out of this type and you will too. Some bodies just don't take to the long version. I am so excited for you sweetie, it won't be long before you will be nesting loads of eggs. I'll be over to Michigan to do some babysitting next year.

Debz,You're a star honey. Love the way you always know the right thing to say everytime. I'm sure that's why you are the best aunt ever. Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it.

Emma,I bet you are excited about doing the stimms tomorrow. It's no turning back from here and soon you will have the baby of your dreams. I know it's going to be good news for you honey.

Ange,
8 days to go...not long at all. It will pass so quickly too. Best of luck honey.

Jemma,How you doing over there? Have you arrived in Singapore yet?

Souris, Missing you loads princess..

I'm bloated today which is yuck! I won't say what I need to do (TMI) but I know it would make me feel better and you girls in the US just might hear it. Consultant is giving me until Thursday to do ET 3days post collection. Normally 2 days in UK but she did 3 days with me before on previos IVF's and I always get preg from it. Hopefully I will this time and keep it too.

To the rest of the lovely ladies,
Hope you are all well and getting ready for the best results ever in IVF. This is going to be the most luckiest thread to be on.

Aunty--I will be taking aspirin also!! I had blood tests done and I came back borderline for clotting issues, borderline is not suppose to affect pregnancy but they are going to put me on aspirin anyway! I think we will be going for ET around the same time if AF arrives when she should they have me figured for ET the second wk of October!

Macca--WooHoo! Way to go!! Sending your embies growing and dividing vibes!!!

As for me I am just waiting for AF, she should be here the end of next week... Funny how sometimes you wish for her to show up!!

Still haven't got up the nerve to tell my boss what I am going to do. I guess I will when I get the official plan... I am at work now and just ready to go home. I worked late last night so I think I should be able to go home early today...

Lisa, if the bloating is from what i think its from (oh i remember it well) have you tried mineral oil? you can get it from the chemist, i always get constipated real bad in my cycles i tried the softners they give you but they did nothing for me .. mineral oil works a charm it wont hurt your baby as it doesnt enter the blood stream just dont take it while breast feeding

Jeck fab sounds like me and you will be the same time im waiting on my AF next week im due 23rd but i can almost say for sure she wont be here then i am hoping its just one day late as i have to go in on day 3 and hubby is working the day before (no way i can find my clinic on my own) its about 1 1/2 hours away with no traffic so fingers crossed...

read you soon...love and hugs Debz

Aunty and Macca you both just gave me so much PMA.. I was so scared that the shorter protocal would not be the best one for me but from what you both have said it will hopefully be the one that works.. I am so stinking excited now I just want to start :D :D :D

Macca
I had very mild overstimiulation and one thing my clinic said is to drink V8 juice (this did not make sense due to all the sodium) but for me it really helped...Just rest rest up and get ready for your little ones to be back home... :D Oh and by the way you will have to be getting extra seats for you and your little one when you come here to baby sit :D :D How many are you putting in?

Aunty
if you can find the chewable baby asprin they are pretty yummy..Like a little citris candy in the morning  I am so glad to be on our list :D I think you were right all along and it just takes my doc a while to catch up to the Dr. Aunty we all know and love.. Trust me Gonal is one of the things I will also be asking about. :D You are so supportive to me...I can not wait for you too start...I will be pretty close to your timing.....This will be our cycles.. ALL of our cycles..

Ems
We will be crossing fingers and toes for you starting tomorrow.. This will be your time and we will all send you are PMA.. :D :D

Jeck
We will start doing an AF jig for you :D You are right we wish  AF away for so long and now we are praying she shows up...

Jemma my dear I hope you are traveling..We miss you...Post when you can..

Souris I hope you are having a lovely time with DH

Love and hugs

Hi ladies. How are we all today? I've had a very busy day today - ImageImageImage I hate housework but I thought I better do some as I've only got 5 days left till I go back to schoolImage

Debz -the only meds I had to mix was my final injection I think or it was maybe that I didn't have enough Gonal so they told me to mix instead of giving me a full pen. Seems ages ago but it wasn't! I'm not sure about taking Aspirin. I want to but my doc said there was no evidence to prove it helps and in some cases it can cause miscarriage. I thought it would be good for me coz when my dreaded AF comes I always have big clots Image

Lisa that's great!!! Go girl!

Jackie - I can't believe it's all starting again. I've got my 2 fertility books for the dreaded 2 WW and looking forward to putting my feet up. I think after the baseline it's all go because of all the bloods and scans. I just pray it works this time. As we all do. I have to be more positive this time. I always think nothing works for me - I've to stop thinking that. I'm going crazy just now - I can't find the 5th disc for the DVD 24 series 5. I've looked everywhere.

Em don't forget to set your clock! Do you take your Stimms at the same time as your down-reg? I took mine both at 6.30pm

Hi ladies,

I been keeping track of you all and noticed the debate on asprin and thought i'd add my pennies worth...

As i posted on the asprin thread, my Dr had me on baby asprin 81mg, with all my cycles. I know it's not a very good advert

He also told me it would be a good idea to keep taking it in between to, as it helps to stop heart diease. Plus it probably explains why i have such good AF's when taking it and horrid clotty ones when i don't.

As long as you don't have problems with excessive bleeding, not sure what it's called, hemo... something, you should be fine on it.
Good idea to check with Dr first....

Good luck all
