The dream is over girls, sorry to bring bad news but AF is coming!!
Had show of blood monday lunch time, and cried my heart out, then nothing at all, however today Af pains and smudges of brown/dark red!!!

If i come on tonight at least i will know that i ovulated ok, and spot on as i predicted it happened over night on tuesday, and had the iui tue and wed!!

so sure i hit the time right, so now i wonder if i have probs in the luteal stage, the lining was 13mm, so very thick, it need to be at least 10mm for a egg to implant, I wonder what happened???

I havent come on properly yet, but believe me i know i will with in the next 24hrs!!

Hope this news hasnt dampened you lot on 2ww's. Be strong!!

We will try again in Oct, cant before then as the dates fall worng whilst we are away on hols, which is a bugger, so aiming for 2nd week in oct now!!

However between then and now i will make enqueries about funding on the nhs and doing ivf....... will keep u all posted ok x x x

Nicki lots of hugs, thinking of you and really hoping its a false alarm. Please update us as soon as xxxxxxx(i've posted elsewhere for you too doll)

Jo you sound like I was on last iui - I was terrible! Constantly thinking of it and thinking I had loads of funny AF type pains - I think I imagined them!! This time so far I feel nothing and feeling a lot calmer. I'm also more focussed at work which is taking my mind off things. I have a full weekend planned too with a barbecue birthday bash and a christening so that should make the time go quicker. I actually feel quite pessimistic this time about things altho not quite sure why.

Interesting about the coffee - I also read that caffeine cancels out the harmful effect of alcohol on the liver. The more you drink cofffee the better the effect .... these experts just can't decide can they??!

Em like you I'm going to have the odd coffee (I usually have about 4 cups a week), keep drinking tea and have the odd glass of wine if I feel like it. I'll prob have a couple of wines at the barbie on Saturday which will also stop people asking me why I am not drinking (us Scots like our drink!! :D ) Sounds like your havin a good jiggy time of it - that's one way to take your mind off the 2ww!! LOL !

Hi to anyone I've missed. Catch you all later xx

Nicki - you haven't let us down at all!!!!!!! How could you even think that? We are here for you and with you every step of the way....just as you are for us! This wasn't the one for you but someday soon I believe it will be, for all of us. And when it does, that baby wil be the most loved, precious creature ever. And the luckiest, too, because it has parents who wanted it so much they went through all of this hell to get it.

Hugs to both you and DH. Have a glass of wine (or even a whole bottle) for me and come back to us when you are feeling strong again.

Love Em

Hey Nicki, hope you're doing ok. Thinking of you today....

Lisa / Em - how is your 2ww going? Ok here. Any more symptoms? I've been trying stay relaxed as much as possible and occupied. Not really any symptoms here except maybe sensitive nips. Are you guys going to do a hpt before your blood work?

Hi Jo

I have been told to do hpt before bloods this time but last time they said no need just come in for bloods. My clinic likes to leave it really late on. I've only to go for bloods if Af hasn't shown by Monday 28th! a full 17 days aftr iui!! So I will prob test next Sat or sun which is 14/15 days after iui if AF hasn't shown. No real symptoms. I had mild abdo cramp on Thursday and again tonight but might just be trying to "find symptoms" !! I think its all in my head I really do! My chest hurts but I was doing pressups today after my run so that's why!! LOL!

Em.... how you bearing up on this 2ww journey ....

Nicki doll how are you??

Hi girls,

Well, to answer you question on the hpt....I did one this morning. The result...well???!!!????!

I got a faint line in the positive box but it was running perpendicular to the way it should run. But it was definately a pink line. What does that mean? I am excited but scared to let myself call it a BFP yet....but oh please God, let it be one!

I still have sore boobs and I am so tired! But I've been having a little sharp pain over my right ovary occasionally which I'm not sure what it is.

DH is excited. I ran down and showed him the test and he beamed! I am going to leave it 2 more days and do another one. I have my offical blood test on friday. How on earth am I going to be able to sleep between now and then?

How are you doing Nicki? Hugs to you.

Not long now Lis and Jovigal!
