Hello girlies!

Lisa, well done on the fertilisation, you did a great job!! I have no time to read all the posts so please forgive me! It is really hard to catch up when you cant log on every day...

I just hope that you are all doing great, Auntie, Jackie , Paula, Ems, and all the others.

I am on 9 days of downregg and will continue at least until the 28th, when my doc come back from holidays... Until then I will have to beg the chemist to give me more meds, because my lovely doc made a mistake on my prescription!!!

I am ok, my mum and some family members visited for 4 days, and now Dh kids are here. I am a bit tired but PMA is here for the moment. I am just worried than my doc could have made more mistakes concerning the dates, what if she messes it up?? It took me 7 months to arrange everything for Dh to be here at the right time!!

I miss you guys, cant wait to be able to connect everyday like before!

Love to all, take care

Hey Rachel nice to read you again, i think i worried more because i suffer from high blood pressure (always been boarder line, used to be on 10 mg enarlapril thats the max dose)i was worried that taking asprin would thin my blood more and increase my BP ?? ive been good though since giving up coffee last time it was tested they said i had BP of an athlete (the only thing i do have in commen with them  ..LOL) plus my AF is perfect usually 26-28 day cycle AF for 4 days not much pain and no clots not much BL either i will bug my DR about this now but hes used to me :D

Paula, i cant remeber i have to call my clinic tomorrow so im going to ask but i think my DR said to start taking it after ER i want to check to make sure now incase im supposed to taking it now

Souris, we miss you being here to but your never far from our thoughts... your not alone in your DR messing up the perscriptions mine did it too i needed a whole new one for my lupron i was down regging too for i think 15 days last cycle but im lucky the chemist i use is an IVF/infert chemist so he does all the work for us i am sure your chesmist will be used to this does your clinic hold meds? i know mine does so if i need some in a hurry i can get them from there... you will do fine your DR was proberbly thinking about his trip

sending hugs for your PMS thinking of you

lots of love Debz

Good evening everyone

I am really short of time today so haven't got time to read through all of your posts. I will try to do that soon. I just wanted you to know that I am still around and still doing the down reg injections. I am now covered in bruises so don't know what i will do when I have to start the stims.

Yesterday we went out for the day and it was the first time I had to inject out of the house which I found hard. Af has arrived now so hopefully we will be on track to start stims next week.

Good luck to everyone

Angela

Hello Girls,

I will have my FET in August. Initially doctor asked me to wait for 3 full months before starting FET, because I had D&C on July 5th, but since I am moving back to my home country, I asked him to start the procedure immediately after the AF. I didnt get my AF yet after my D&C [almost 6 weeks past].

Today's U/S was fine. My lining was 16mm and progesterone level dropped to 4.5. so I may expect my AF in this week. I am happy.

Although doctor was recommending to do in October, after my request he agreed.

Is there any hard and fast rule to do FET only after 3 months of D&C?

I am very much hoping for this attempt. Can someone tell me about the procedure of FET. I will have external stimulation with Estradol plasters. Anyone know about this?
me: 29
DH: 31

1st IVF May/June 06 ' BFP - miscarried with D&C

2nd IVT-ICSI

Stimulation started on 20th of Jan

Scan update: 30th Jan - 24 follicles, endo 8 mm
will have hcg injection at 10.30 pm
ER on 1st Feb

Morning ladies ( or evening for those of you in the northern hemisphere :P )
Gorgeous day here in Auckland ..if a little cold. It was 3 deg C today when I left home to come to work.......roll on summer!!

thanks for the advice on the aspirin. There are 2 big fertility clinics here in Auckland. One uses aspirin the other (mine) doesn't. Will check with the nurses and see if they think it'll be ok to use.

Macca
great news on the fertilisation. How many embies are you putting back?

Aunty
you seem to be a great source of information..brace yourself for more questions from me....I ask a lot.

Hope all is well with everyone else.

Better go and do some work now.....

Hi All! So...since I am somewhat new to this board I have a few comments and some questions. I guess the first comment is...I am realizing that most of you are not from the United States (as I am). That is great that we are from all over! The second comment is how strong you all are!! Everyone seems to have such a great attitude which I know is so important when it comes to IVF.

Question...what is down regging? I think it is lupron...but why is it called down regging? Just curious.

I am ok. Taking my lupron and about to take my 3rd to last birth control pill. Can't wait to see AF and start stims. Here's the thing about being on Lupron though. EMOTIONS! I mean...whoa! I had a fight with DH the other night and cried my eyes out. Only to be followed by the topper...I was watching the season finale of "Hell's Kitchen" (a reality show for chefs) and when the "person" one...I cried my eyes out. Literally heaving for him/her (keeping it a secret for those that tivo). I cried for 10 minutes. I have NEVER been like this (and yes, have been preggo before...no tears).

Just thought it was kinda funny.

I am on 81 of baby aspirin...but for me it is a high risk issue. I have a blood clotting disorder so that is what I have to do in order to stay preggo. Take baby aspirin from the time of trying right up til delivery day. Kinda sucks cause it makes me bruise really badly.

Anyway...hope you all have a great day/night.

Hi All

Zirly - Yes I think Luprinal is down regulating. I am using Bruseline. It is called down regulating because you take it to switch off your bodies normal hormon responses, similar to the menopause which is why you get all of the symptoms. I have been on it for 9 days now and so far the side effects haven't been too bad. I was worried about the moodiness as I have quite bad mood swings anyway but it hasn't been too bad.

islacraig - winter wonderful, roll on. This summer we have had some really hot days and I work in a hot kitchen so it has been unbearable. The last week or so has cooled off a bit with some rain.

Macca - Keeping my fingers crossed for you. When do the embies go back

Aunty - Nearly time to start

Saxony - Good luck with FET. I had a D&C after a misscarriage about 10 years ago and we were told we could TTC straight away afterwards. the advice might have changed since then though.

Souris - I think we started downreging around the same time. I go for my baseline scan on 23rd.

Hello to everyone else I have missed off. I had better go and open up at work now but will pop in later to see how you all are

Good morning everybody and thanks for all your lovely posts. Well, today's the day! In answer to your questions I will be doing my stim injection at the same time as my buserelin which is around 6pm. DH will be with me for moral support but I am sure, like always, it won't be as bad as I am imagining  !!!

Aunty, I am going to be very positive and ask you to add my planned EC date to your list with all your groovy graphics?! I am not that clever!!!

Lots of PMA to all of you.

Hugs

Hiya girls,

Consultant rang and advised that 5 of my 7 have continued to cleave and are looking good. Assuming they do the same tomorrow I will have 2 put back in and freeze 3 (if I have 3 by tmrw). This will only happen if I show no signs of OHSS. I'm still bloated but because everything else seems to be ok, she's happy to proceed (subject to scan tmrw morning)

Hopefully this time tmrw I will have 2 embies snuggling in.

Emma, Good luck with the injections tonight. Try and think about the end result and pinch before you inject (always works for me)

Love Lisa. XX

Good Morning,

Saxony, ok i went and did a bit of reading up, it looks like if its an early loss you can try right away if the loss is too late in you have to wait for your hormones to settle down first, the reason most people are told to wait is more emotional than physical so if your ready emotionaly then you go for it we are all here to support you, i would have thought that as your body now recognises pregnancy you have more of a chance.

Islacraig, i think its cos im not working so have way too much time on my hands so when i see a new symptom or something i dont know about i go research it... but please ask away i know if none of us have been through it one of us will know something about almost anything...

awww Zirly, im sorry your having such a bad time it will get better in about 10 months  i think i was lucky i didnt have too many problems with Lupron... the stimms well thats a whole other matter (isnt it jackie) poor jackie had to help me through some crazy times last cycle (and shes still doing it)

Emma absolutly.. although i kind of cheat it took me ages the first time to do it all now i just edit the old post and update the info  you will be fine tonight take a deep breath and think baby food

Macca 5 thats fantastic wow they are really doing well arnt they, are you drinking tons? jackie was right about the v8 and ooo what was the other one everyone was drinking? erm cant flippin remember and i cant blame hormones yet ... can i ????

i can see jackies boss didnt listen to us we miss you.

to all the other lady's i hope all is going great read you soon

Hello girlies.......

Paula that is good you have your books to read.. For the PMA try not to worry we will all have the PMA you need for you :D :D I am with you I can not belive its starting again but as Macca (Lisa) said this is an amazing thread and I really think we will be a great cycle for all of us :D :D

Dory,
You are so supportive of all of the ladies here. How are you doing? I am glad to have you here with us.. You are an amazing woman :D

Souris
Oh hunny try not to worry. It must be so frustrating that your doc made a mistake but I am sure it will be ok. This will be your time...We miss you too.. :D

Angela
I am sorry about the brusies hopefully they will get better. I agree with Aunty my stimm injections were much easier than the lupron
YEAH for AF showing up.. It wont be long now till you get your BFP

Saxony
I dont have any information but I would have to belive if your doctor agreed (although he wanted you to wait) that it must not be a mandatory rule.. Did Ghost reply.. I also think he has so much knowledge.. Maybe try pm'ing him....

Islacraig
If you have questions you have come to the right place.. These ladies are amazingly helpful...

Zirly
I am from the states but you will find (as you said) a lot of the laides on here are from other places..Its neat because I feel like I have made so many friends here... :D I have to say the lupron made me a little emotional too.. I also have to say that season finale of hells kitchen was great.. I loved it.. :D

Ems
You are on your way to your BFP :D :D

Macca
This is so exciting.. Your two little ones are going to be all setteled in tomorrow for a long 9month nap.. You must be so excited.. I think I am just as excited as you are (ok maybe not that excited) but pretty close :D :D

Jemma
Hello my dear.. How are you? We miss you.... I hope you are traveling and getting all settled in. :D

He He He Aunty we must have been posting at the same time.. I think the other drink for stimiulation was gatorade.. My doc advised not to go crazy but it can help.....

So
How many ladies here have little ones.. I don't yet but I was curious for those that do is this secondary problems or did you do IVF with the first ones..

Love and hugs to all
