I have been going through FET. I am doing my Progesteron injection and taking other medication. I read about Progesteron drug facts and it indicated the possibility of birth defects. I am a little bit worried about it. I would like to hear from parents who had successful FET and as a result had healthy kids. Thank you all for your support!
Hi, I didnt have FET but I had 2 IVF cycles using many drugs and progesterone suppositeries and I have 2 very healthy children. Dont worry I've never heard of any children actually being born with defects.

Babies born after IVF are more likely to have birth defects than those conceived naturally. That's a fact.
Nobody really knows why. Does IVF itself cause defects? The meds? Or is it because patients who need IVF are usually older and infertile, and these factors could affect the baby?
Of course, the chance of birth defects is greater with multiples, and IVF is famous for multiples. Twins are common, and triplets happen all too often with IVF. I once read (or was told?) that IVF was responsible for 1% of childbirths and 70% of triplets. Maybe old data by now.
