bedrest and successful IVF

Post by wannababy1229 »

Hello Mommies-to-be--

My facility only requires 20 of bedrest after the transfer. I have decided to put myself on bedrest and I wanted to know from you how long was your bedrest before getting your BFP! Any answers and thoughts will be appreciated! Thanks so much!

The 1.IVF I took it easy for 2 weeks..really easy - reading, watching DVDs, eating... 2.IVF I was literally shovelling snow (we had a huge storm here and DH was out of town) 3 hours after ET. Not sure if there is a right or wrong requirement for bedrest...I would say do what you do normally but don't overstress yourself (i.e. I never went jogging after ET but decided to do very long walks instead).

All the best for a BFP !! :D

After my only successful transfer, I rested for about 20 minutes and then did quite a bit of walking as I had to travel home that day. I walked a lot during my 2ww as I had mild OHSS and I was more comfortable walking the dogs than sitting down.

I would say do whatever you feel comfortable with! Good luck to you.

Cheers
Heather
