I have heard really great things about crazy dreams and BFP's... I will keep all my fingers and toes crossed.. You will be following Dania and giving us the PMA with your BFP..its funny I have to laugh when I read what I write.. DH often comes in and ask's if we have our own crazy language code
The other day he asked if DH meant Dumb hubby.. I told him it was depending on the day sometimes it meant Dear Hubby and others times it meant Dumb  He knew I was only kidding with him....

Laura I hope AF is not to rough on you..just think this will be your last one for a long 9 months..

love and hugs to all

Guys

Sorry no personals other than to say the itchy boobs must be a sign Em. Why ever else would that happen???

Doing this from Blackberry in Devon so will make it quick. But just wanted to update you all.

Good appointment today. My dh is a real fan of our new consultant rather than the one we started with. All infection is now gone. He says ivf rather than iui is much better for me at my age and also given potential risk of eptopic. He agrees given age that we should not leave a year. So we agreed that we would try naturally until Xmas. If no joy by then we do an ivf in January. Fresh cycle in Jan and keep the Frosties that we have from cycle 1 as back-up. So I feel better now that we have a firm plan. He was really pleased with my recovery. The nurse took out the stiches and it was much easier than the lap stitches coming out which were awful. Tummy sore but feels less tight with stitches out. He understood the issues with my cold!! He said the worst thing of all were coughing, sneezing and laughing!!! Anyhow cold is finally passing - although have given it to dh who I have now left in London working!! Ahhhh

So I have quite a lot of PMA. AF has shown up 3 days early - like Veronika - but consultant said that was par for the course post-surgery. So here's hoping that it could be my last AF....you never know?????

Love to all.

I finally got the results of all the blood tests I had done last month. Everything is fine, I don't have any conditions that would cause me to habitually miscarry. I thought everything was okay but it's good to know for sure.

I have an appointment for my baseline scan/lupron start on Sept 1. Only 2 1/2 weeks to go. I can't believe it's that close.

I have to leave for work so no time for personals but I'll check back later, as I'm off tomorrow night.

Carolyn
Well done with the PMA.. I am not at all surprised that you are feeling much better now that you have a plan.. We are all of course the planners thread... I really find it funny because I find that we are all very similar in that way :D Yep I think you are right it was very nice of your AF to show up early for her final visit and by the holidays you will have your BFP the natural way just like Dania.. :D :D :D

Laura
I bet getting the test back ok made you feel better. Even though you thought it was ok this confirmation just makes the PMA even stronger...Oh hunny I am so happy that you get to start so soon.. So if you start lupron the 1st when are you looking at ER and ET? This will be your time :D

For me Not much accupuncutre is going well.. I think it will be the shot to bring on  AF (assuming she coorperates) possibly ER and ET the week of September 19th or so.. Somewhere around there.. They are doing the short protocal so no birthcontrol or anything.. I am a little worried about cyst.. No real reason I just have to have something to worry about...

Em how are you feeling any more itchy boobs

Veronika and Dania how are you lovely ladies :D

Love and hugs to all

Hello dear ladies!

Carolyn,
I hope you are recovering well in Devon! I am glad AF came quickly for you as well. I was really afraid after the lap that things would get out of their rhythm. So for once I was happy with good old AF being early and reliable. Your plan of trying until x-mas sounds very good. It gives you some time to relax and just forget about the whole IVF. And it would be so wonderful if you never had to think about it again!

Laura,
I am happy to hear that all your results came back the way they were supposed to! These worries you will not have on your mind in your next round of IVF and that can only be good for your PMA. It is incredible that you are starting again so soon. I really hope you are feeling good about it!!!

Em,
itchy boobs sounds wonderful :) And you altogether sound like you are taking this 2ww really positively. I hope they pass quickly! I have a really good feeling about your itchy boobs...

Jackie,
how was accu? Do you already have the feeling that it does something to your body? I still haven't called the accu place Dania is going to. But I am finally starting to get through my work and I am sure to do it before the end of August and am very excited about it!

There's no news from me. In a way I am on my first 2ww for trying naturally since the lap. I try not to think about it too much, and with all the work this is not too hard. I even had a glass of wine today. Just because I do not want to live as if I am pregnant, it just makes me feel even worse when it hasn't worked then...

I am sending all you lovely ladies many hugs,

Veronika

Hi girls,

Veronika - Good plan about carrying on as normal. I am trying to do the same and in fact I even forgot I was on the 2ww today! The more relaxed you are the better prepared your body will be.

Carolyn - Very jealous of you being down in Devon with nothing to do but the baby dance! I really hope that this will be your last AF!

Laura - Good news that all your tests are ok. Is lupron the same as Synarel to down reg? I new at all this.

Jackie - Hurry up AF! Shall start a jig for you!

Well, itchy boobs have eased and last night I thought they might have been sore for a split second but I think that was in my head. I did have a discharge today (sorry if tmi) just white and I was wondering if it means anything? Just taking it easy at the moment.

Veronika.
Well done on the trying naturally.. I bet you will be right behind Dania... :D For me I think you should really consider the acc.. I have not felt any changes and still no AF but I can say that emotionally I feel better I just feel more PMA.. This will probably change again but I feel really good now...Also I had a glass of wine during my 2ww and I don't see a problem with it just nothing in excess. They say red wine is good for you anyway...So get your glass in now since you will be getting your BFP soon :D

Laura how are you feeling? Hopefully  Af visit will not be long overstayed.. Thinking of you honey...

Ems..Not to give TMI but I had the dishcarge after my last IVF.. for me it was a great sign.. So fingers and toes crossed. When is your test date again.

Carolyn thinkig of you and hoping you are resting and letting your mom and family take care of you..

Love and hugs

Hi everyone

Still down in Devon but have enough battery left to write some short personals

Ems - 1ww done already. Almost forgetting for a day is quite an achievement. Must say that I found the 2nd week harder but at least we will all be counting down with you and cheering you over the finish line!!!

Veronika - sounds like you are not thinking about it too much which is so hard but must be the way to go. Will you do a hpt at end of 2ww? That is what doctor has told me that I must do even if just a day late as they are concerned about risk of eptopic for me post-surgery as it is more common. I have found the acu made visible changes for me. This may be tmi but cutie sensed issue was poor implantation for me based on all the figs he collected based on normal cycle and ivf tmt.so that has been what he has worked on. It has certainly made AF more red and less clots which is exactly what he said it would do with the acu + the herbs....think that you must get booked in when your studies are done

Laura - so good to know that the bloods were all ok. The more reassurance that we can all get the better. Not long now until you get going

Jackie - I am having a very nice time down in Devon. Really missing my dh as been away now 3 days!! My sister has been here and I have not told her about our situ as do not want her to worry. So she has had me out + about more than I might have done. So a bit shattered!!! She has just headed back to London today so I'll be taking it a bit easier the next few days with just my parents around. Hope that you are doing ok and will be able to start soon. I agree with you that we are all right planners!!!! It really makes me smile when I read comments as often they could really relate to me and what I might do or say. It is great that we do have each other...

Dania - hope you + the little one are doing really well

Not much else for me to report. AF has been rough but short. Had been warned it could be odd post op. Recovery has hit a bit of a plateau but maybe I have been trying to do too much? Will chill over weekend as go back to London next Monday.

Hope that you all have great weekends.

Lots of love

Carolyn- You amaze me! You are one tough cookie- to be walking around already. Sounds like your recovery is well on its way. Glad to hear you are really happy with your new consultant- I think you have a great plan! And your AF seems to be ahead of schedule which means you get a jump start on baby dancing! That is really interesting what your acu said- that’s what mine had explained as well- that is why they put needles in startegic places to increase the blood flow for better implantation. Since you’ve seen changes in your AF it really is having an effect on your body. It must be hard to be away from your DH- only a few days to go…

Lauralou- Glad to hear your starting a new cycle- I agree with Em- altough your 1st time was a tough ride I too believe that you body is now more familiar with all the hormones. You must be feeling scared. The results from your blood test are a great!

Em- How are you doing ? Wow a triplet dream! I believe that some dreams are premonitions- back in May I dreamt of a group of older people telling I should do some baby dancing- I was really depressed and I didn’t even have that on my mind. I felt compelled to follow my dream. I found it very strange though. I have a good feeling too about your boobs being itchy. I too started having a lite white discharge b4 I found out and I still do. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Jackie-How did your acu go? You must be scared about your cyst but I think doing acu will help- I think the short protocol is a great option.

Veronika- I agree its best not too think about it too much and just go on with your day to day. I had a glass of wine the weekend b4 I found out and everything is fine.

My class was cancelled this morning- so its great to do a little cleaning around the house- it surely needed it- now that my energy is back up! I am totally about to burst- we are telling our friends and family this weekend!!Yeah!
We had our scan on Monday and it was so exciting- I was nervous- couldn’t stop going to pee during the 2 hour wait. My DH was so mesmerized looking at the monitor- he didn’t even hear the Dr. talking to him. I’m must say I feel relieved at this point and still amazed there is actually a baby there. All the stress in the last two years was well rewarded! It may be tough right now for all of you but I believe your prayers will be answered too. I am praying for you all.

Have a good weekend girls!
Sending you hugs across the miles,
Dania

Dania - I got tears in my eyes just like Jackie when I read your news. It must all seem a bit surreal until you actually both see it on the screen. And telling everyone - that must be SO EXCITING!!! Have a fantastic weekend, I am sure that everyone will be thrilled for you especially when they realise what you have been through to achieve your dream. Great to hear that the acu said the same to you - I thought that it might be tmi but thought that it might be useful for others to read that it can make actual physical changes too

Em- hope that you are bearing up ok - hopefully your dh has some things planned to take your mind off waiting

Jackie I guess from your post that AF is still playing away. How soon will they give you a shot so you can get started?

Veronika - let us know your test date so we can count you down. You must also let us know when you have completed your PhD so we can all congratulate you!!!

Laura - hope that you are looking after yourself and getting ready to start

I took it very easy yesterday and just lounged around the house. We are going to a nearby town this afternoon for a walk by the sea and a cream tea!!! What the hell!! We all deserve some treats

AF pretty much done which is good. Back to see dh on Monday. Acu booked for Tuesday as he said he could help me 2 weeks after op.

My cycle lengthed to 34 days for the 3 months post ivf. This time it was 32 days which is closer to what I used to be but could have been distorted by tubal op. Any tips on how to count/plan out when I ovulate? Should I do those home tests? Should I look at my secretions (sorrt tmi) or should I just could back 14 days from 32 and 34 days and make sure that we do lots of baby dancing then. All tips welcome!!

Have a nice Saturday.
Love to you all.

Hello ladies
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.. My weekend is going well one thing we may do this weekend is go buy a dog. We have talked about it for a while so we may just go do it today.I am really excited. :o

Carolyn one suggestion is to do the temp thing. the BBT chart. The ovulation test will tell you when your surge is happening so that may work better. The BBT will just chart when you have ovulated but once you see the spike in your temp it has already happened. I would say go for the ovulation test that way you will know for sure. One thing Zita says is the more baby dancing the better. She said alot of doc's say you should baby dance every other day yet Zita says you should baby dance as much as you can. For the secreations thing I have heard of that but I am not quite sure how that works :D

I hope you all have a lovely weekend..

Love and hugs

Carolyn - Sperm can live in you for up to 6 days so I would take 20 days from your cycle length (lets say 32, so thats Day 12) and I would go at it morning and night until Day 20 just to be on the safe side. Thats assuming that you'll ovulate on day 18. As my doctor said - the best place for sperm is in you so get as much in there as possible (sorry if tmi)! The temperature chart and ovulating tests are a good idea but will only tell you the day you ovulate and I believe you need to make use of that 6 day lifespan, so you need to get started well before then.

Ok. I need some help. Should I be getting excited? I did a HPT this morning and I got a faint, but definately there pink line in the positive window. The problem is that rather than running across the window like it should in the diagram and the control window, it was running the length of the window (ie perpendicular to the way it should). Is this good news? I'm trying not to get too excited but oh, God please let it be true!

I have tender boobs and no signs that AF is approaching but is it all in my head? DH just beamed when he saw the test but is trying to not get too excited. He has been so protective of me all day (not letting me lift anything, etc) which is so sweet....and probably going to get annoying if it lasts 9 months!

So I will anxiously await your replies. I plan to retest in 2 days anyway and then I have my bloods on friday.....
