Lissa, thanks a lot. Enjoy your 2ww.
I also hope FSH will go down before I start gonal. I just called a friend told her about it. B4 went to fertility clinic, I went to 2 obgyn. Both of them found about 6-7 follicles at me when doing scan. She told me that it was no guarantee the follicles have egg. I think she meant probably can't be fertilized. I am shock. Totally shock. I remembered DR said mine was all small size. I really need to go home asap. I hope I still have enough time to find way to solve this. Really need all your suggestion about this.
Take care, thinking and prying for your BFP… Twins too :D :D God Bless all of you.

Luv,
Jemma

Hi Jemima, i have been waiting to see your post,i can understand how freaked out you are but its too early yet to worry, if your starting down regging those follies they saw dont matter any way they will do a scan at your surpression check right? and they will take more blood ?, then if i read right you will be on gonal f, i love Gonal F its fantastic medicin.
at my first check my FSH was almost 10, but on my second check my FSH was 6 so it can fluctuate a great deal in your cycles its good to get the high one now so when you go for your next check we have to pray it will be lower for you.

also on my scans i was told at the very end i only had 5 "good follies" and they always tell me they may not contain eggs this has nothing to do with fertilization that comes next, but at my egg collection they got 11 eggs so see they dont always see all the follies you have some of them hide around the back and they cant get to them untill EC so dont worry about your scans either, your body can amaze you.

i hope you feel better soon.. lets pray for some good news at your next appointment.

hugs Debz

Oh Honey you must be so worried.. I have to admit you ladies know much more about your bodies and levels etc than I do. I really have to belive that since Macca said that the FSH can be tied to stress I know you were excited but maybe all of this just made you nervous.. Also like Aunty said the follies they saw are going to be gone and she also went through them telling her there was only a few follies and she ended up with more..Honey try not to worry. When is your next appointment. I belive it will be ok and I will say all my prayers that you get good news..

Macca

Souris

I have just noticed that your ticker says 17 days until EC. Wow that means it is probably around the same. My baseline scan is 23rd. I have only got 2 more weeks at work and then I am taking about 10 days holiday to cover the EC and ET.

Macca - I hope that the little ones are settling in well and that you are ok.

Down regulating is going well. Apart from feeling really tired I don't seem to be having any side effects, certainly no hot flushes. I hope that this doesn't mean it is not working.

I hope that you are all having a good weekend and good luck whatever stage of the journey you are at.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday (or Monday). I have a question. I just took my last birth control pill on thursday night. Now it is Sunday morning. When can I expect my period? I thought I would have it by now. I am nervous I am not going to get it.

Thanx

Hello ladies
Thanks for the tips on the day 21 start. I am seeing my doc on tuesday to collect my drugs so will ask for a blood test to check I've ovulated before I start down regging.

I'm also going to get the DVDs in stock. Reading about Sex and City, think I'm going to have to get myself a series ready for the 2WW!

Also interested in Aunty Pebbles' tips on the progesterone shots. You say that you warm the area. Whereas, my friend ices her bum first! Am slightly worried as know I'm definitely having the injections and not the pessaries and have heard so many scare stories. Can't believe I'm worrying about progesterone when I haven't even started!

Hope it's going well for everyone. September is only just round the corner, let's hope it's a good month!!

Zirly

I didn't take the BC only bruseline to down regulate. Af is normally really regular but this time was a couple of days late so don't worry too much. My clinic advised she could be late and to just phone them if it hadn't arrived by the day before the baseline scan.

Only 3 more days now till baseline and I really hope that everything is working well and we can start stims.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend

Afternoon everyone, :D
Macca.. our mommy in waiting how are you feeling? i hope you can feel all the love and prayers we are sending your way for you all.. im doing really great (well i am now) ive been a bad girl for the last few weeks i have been craving milk and vanilla ice cream (in a big obbsessive way) so i kinda drifted into drinking tons of milk and eating way too many ice creams oo ok and broccli with mint sauce (oh boy) ok so i know its my screwy hormones and today realised thats not the best diet so close to my cycle so im back on the good girl diet still ahve to have my milk but limited to 3 glasses a day

Zirly one thing ive learnt is AF will only be a pain when your actually waiting for it  on my first mine was late on my second i got two instead of one... will do the AF jiggy dance for you Image she should be here later or tomorrow

Bec hun i always have to have the blood test my clinic use the test strips to check for ovulation but mine never shows up on them, so its easier to do bloods than drive myself bonkers for 10 days looking at pink lines...LOL... for progesterone the reason i say to warn the area is to do with the oil the progesterone is carried in, warming the area helps with allowing the oil to spread and be absobed easier i found by not doing this i got little bumps where the injection was ... now im not sure if you know but im a wimp with injections i promise you after we started the warming thing i dont feel the injection at all (i have to ask hubby if hes done it) and dont get lumpy build ups and very little discomfort i have to press the area really hard to feel where we injected.. i swear by it.. but you will find the right way for you and always do what is best for you. :D

Angela... oh wow thats gone so fast, im really pleased you didnt have any symptoms cant wait till your on your egg food ooo exciting.

Jemima hun your not alone we are all here, it will go fine try to take each step as it comes you cant think too far ahead it will make you nuts we need to get your PMA up we need positive vibes for your little ones :D sending you lots of those ok...big hug

Jackie did you get the puppy.. i hope your having a good day read you soon

lots of love Debz

Hi All,
I think I should post on here because if we do the transfer on Tuesday, then I'll be part of this group...as you may have seen I've been asking lots of questions all over the place. My latest concern is how many to transfer back in, I have four fertilized right now, and will find out they are doing tomorrow. The transfer is planned for Tuesday.
Thank you to all who have taken the time to repond to me :D
I wish you all the best in our Sept Hopes and Dreams.

Hi lovely mom to be :D

Mazzy, welcome. this is thread amazing. Good luck on you ET. I am also thinking about how many embryo. My Nurse said 3 but i am afraid having triplets. Twins i hope.

Zirly, I can feel how happy you are with AF coming. Me too.. But next month or next 2 month we hope it won't come :D Good luck in ur appointment. What phase are u now. Sorry if u already mentioned many times. :D

Paula, Good luck with ur injection. Do u inject by ur self? My nurse said I can inject at hospital. They won't charge. I am so glad, I am affraid to those needles :(

Debz, honey I’ve been eating ice cream a lot here. Ben n Jerry. I can't find them at Jakarta. Since I hate Singapore food, so ice cream and milk is my best friend. I also found the best milk here. I hope i won't gain weight. but I walk a lot here.

Lissa macca, thanks for look after me. :D :D I really need it after FSH news. But I am okay now. Here I am sitting in my friend apt. in the desk lying zita book of him and I didn't open or look at it. Keep My promise to all of u. How's Sex n the city? After i came back, i will find some series to watch. I like 24 a lot. but too stress to watch, right? May be some Filipino drama. A friend loved them. I don't. I will try. Of course I won't forget to bring my lovely friends and desperate wife collection. Enjoy 2 ww. You'll be so busy after ur BFP coming :D :D

Angela, good luck. We are here to pray that everything is well for you. and ur dream come true.

Bec, i am worry in many things. We are so lucky to have the ladies here. Have fun with sex n city. I love them too... Only I can't bring them with me. Cause they are pirate. Yes, sometimes I bought pirates. So many here and easy to find.... I am so naughty :( :( Good luck to you

jackie, did u get the dog?

All the best to all of u. I am startting my BC to night. Nurse said I should have it after dinner. :( I am trying not having dinner lately

bye bye...

talk to u soon

Looking at aunties last lovely picture list it seems like for many of this it is going to be baseline week this week. So lets hope for lots of follies to be seen on the scans and nice thin linings so we can all start stimming together. It also means if my calculations are right that there will be a few of us testing at the same time. I really hope I get as far as the test date this time. In the past I have done 2 rounds of IUI and both times AF came well before the test date so it will be lovely to get that far this time, even better if it is a BFP.

DH and I had a long talk last night about what to do if the treatment fails along the way. We are being funded by the NHS this time and unless we win the lottery this will be our one and only chance at IVF. We have already both booked 10 days off work for the EC and ET and have decided that if anything goes wrong before then and we don't get to the end we are going to go straight to the travel agents and book a holiday to get us away so that we can spend some qualitiy time together. Not that that is going to happen as I am thinking positively and we will make it to ET. Then he can pamper me during the time off. He didn't realise that 3 days bed rest meant that, he thought it was just take it easy. So we are getting the films in ready to pass the time away.

Good luck to you all whatever stage you are at.

Angela
