Zirly wanted to wish you loads of luck with your scan tomorrow, so pleased AF showed up for you... now it gets really exciting, looking forward to reading you tomorrow.

Mazzy good to see you, i do really hope some how you get the answer you need to put your mind at rest just think tomorrow you will be feet up watching day time telly while your little ones snuggle in.. i have added you to the list and will update tomorrow big hug happy transfer..

Angela your fantastic i love your out look, but your right you will have to put off the holiday for at least 12 months im sure your going to find this cycle so much different, make the most of the best rest pampering and time with DH

Jemima im so pleased its not just me my ice cream buddy, i have to say ive dropped loads of weight (woohoo) but im going to be really good... i need to start walking..if i move my feet a lot in the car is that the same???

Michelle... starting nasal spray i hope you doint get too many symptoms...good luck

Macca im not sure if i have the right test date for you hun let me know i will change it ... hope your feeling well and rested hugs for your little ones...

This is my 1st attempt at IVF and I start down regs on 24th August 06 I'm soo excited and nervous all at the same time, my emotions are all over the place before I even start injections.

I wish you all luck and hope we can suuport each other

Paula I love Shih-Tuz's he must be sooooo cute.. We ended up not getting the one puppy we were looking at.. Long story but we kept going back and forth which pup would be the best I think we have finally figured it out and hopefully we will have one this week

Welcome here and how exciting you will be lady in waiting soon.. I read your post about how many to put back. What does your doc say? I have read 3-4 is pretty comman. That is what my doc wanted to do but I only had the one last time.. Whatever you decide it will be the right decision

Hi honey.. I hope you are feeling a bit better. I am glad you are staying with your friend that will help with the stress of not being sure where you are staying.. Maybe you could do a lite dinner that will help with the pill.. Or take it with a glass of milk that is what I did.. So you go back on Thursday right.. thinking of you honey..

I know how scary it is with dates and the uncertinity of it all.. You and DH sound like you have a great plan with being off work etc.. Think good thoughts.. This will be your time

way more fun though.. DH and I have walked to the store to get ice cream do you think that is wrong

a little counter productive though right.. Hopefully I will get the puppy and be able to walk him or her...

Hello All!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!! I kept my nephews 11 and 8 Friday night and they are always so entertaining and make me laugh!!

Now this week I will be doing the AF jig, she is usually very perdictable... But you know how it goes when you want her to be on time...

Jackie i knew you,d have me on the car walking... darn it.. as for walking to the store to get ice cream well i think it was a great idea you get to eat the ice cream and gained no calories (you already walked them off) like i pre emptive strike

Hi Ladies
Well, we're back from the V Festival and what a blast we had! Apart from the meds we almost forgot about the treatment and for a couple of days felt 'normal' again! I did a lot of jumping around and singing and my voice is paying for it today! We saw some brilliant acts and had a really really good time - just what we needed I think.

So, now its back to reality. First monitoring scan is Wednesday so I'm starting to get a little nervous. I am a dab hand at this mixing the Menopur lark now though so feeling much more confident.

Its all getting very real now and I can't believe that if all goes to plan we will be having EC next week - OMG!
You will have to excuse me, I am SOOOOOOOOOOO tired from the weekend I haven't had a chance to read all your lovely posts in full but had a quick scan of them. I wish you all lots of luck for wherever you are in your tmt cycles and am sending you lots of PMA!!!!!!
Off to catch up on some ZZzzzzz's now.

Paula...I missed it...did you get a new shih tzu? My parents just got one and she is soooooooooooooo cute! I am in love with her. They are the best breed

Aunty...thank you for your well wishes tomorrw. I don't know quite what to expect. Are they going to count my follies. I know I start stims if all goes well on Wednesday. That is when I need to drnk lots of water, right? I am so excited to just get to the final stage!!

I just found chocolate with cognac inside. I don't drink alcohol. but I always like something has alcohol like ice cream or chocolate.

Jeck, I hope AF coming soon. Are u planning to start after it comes?

Ems, thats fantastic i bet that trip did you the world of good i knew youd be a snap at the mixing when you got the hang of it...way to go... wishing you many follies on wednesday's scan wow it really is going fast isnt it EC so soon... big prayer for you

Zirly i didnt get any signs of OHSS untill after EC but i think its best to drink fluid now maybe stave off any possiblity of it.. i know i am going to... ooo i just remembered what everyone else was drinking gatoraid.. if you do get bloating after EC try that i know some ladys said it worked a treat. best of luck will be thinking of you

Jemma good to read you again, sweet dreams and congrats on starting your pills hopefully this will be smooth untill your egg food

Hi all, Can I join you all?
I am looking at starting an IVF cycle on 29th Sept, but waiting for AF to start this week so will have to confirm.
Briefly our history is that we were trying to conceive for 3 1/2 years and were given the frustrating 'unexplained infertility' diagnosis. We started our 1st IVF cycle in April 04 and were very blessed to have a postive outcome and be blessed with our daughter who is now 18 months. Having not used any contraception since her birth we have decided to try again!
I hope I am not offending anyone by posting on this thread as I feel bad that we are already asking for another child, but I hope you can understand. It would be great to have the support of other people this time, but if people would rather I posted elsewhere I will understand.
I have enjoyed following your posts and whatever I will continue to follow and offer support and good luck to you all.

of course your more than welcome to join us im sure all the ladys would agree, im so pleased your first attempt worked i love to hear of a positive outcome, i know a few of the lady's are first timmers too so that will beef up the PMA. lets hope its two for two

what kind of cycle will you be doing? it sounds like the same time as me and jeck maybe jackie too....we are waiting for AF so jigging for all of us now
