High FSH

I just had 3rd day blood work done. FSH is 10.5 and E2 is 52.8. I am only 31 and Chinese. The doctor told me that they see quite a few Asian women have high FSH.

Are these numbers really bad?

My doctor told me that if your FSH is under 10 there is very ggod egg quality. They do not start to worry until you get to about 15. When you reach 20, you are nearing menopause.
I am 28 years old and my FSH level is 6.2 which they said is good.
I think that you should be fine.

I had a FSH level of 13 at time of my IVF cycle. I am 36 years old. I received a BFP and am pregnant w/ twins : ) I would say your number looks very good!

Hi standardpoodle,

I am going for my day 3 FSH and my ultrasound tomorrow. I am 32 years old, Indian. I am so worried about my results. I have irregualr cycles and have problems ovulating. Based on the results I would qualify for the IVF. Wish you goodluck and keep me posted on how everything is.
