My pregnancy symptoms....HUGE boobs. I think that is why everyone is guessing I am pregnant. I am not sure if it is from the injections or the pregnancy. I wake up about three times in the night to go the bathroom and I have weird dreams every night. Some cramping and a little constipation (sorry) but all in all I felt worse on the injections. I felt like I could barely walk during the stim time and now I feel more energized. I just can't wait until the heartbeat to really start celebrating. I have been staying happy but grounded.

You may want to add that to the calender...Sept 7th u/s for h/b and to determine if it is one or two.

Girls...It is all happening for all of you know. I am so excited and have such positve feelings. I can not wait to start a mommies group with all of you via internet.

Suzhan---I am dying here, I hope it is good news.

Wannababy- let us know if it is day 3 or five transfer. Pros and cons for both

At my u/s today my RE told me he thought I'd be ready on wednesday, but after my b/t results he decided to keep me on stimms for one more day. Now my ER should be on thursday 8/24. Out of the 13 follies I have, he said 8 are right where they should be. Maybe he wanted to see if a few more will ripen :? .

Lola, I have been avoiding caffeine for a couple of months now. Every once in awhile I have a green tea or white tea or just a few sips of soda. Oh, and then there's chocolate :?. I'm a chocoholic, I'm trying to get a grip on that. I'm not sure if chocolate is too high in caffeine. I will research that. If I have to I'll give it up for pregnancy. Although I've seen plenty of preggy women eat chocolate :) .

suzhan, I can't wait to hear your test results :!: I hope for the best for you.

wannababy, do you know when your ET is yet? Pretty soon there will be several of us on a 2ww. :D
Boy, if my nipples feel like this now, I can't wait till my trigger shot

well. I've got to get up early again for another u/s & b/t. Hopefully tommorrow I'll know for sure about my ER.

Well, unfortunately, bad news here.....got the bfn yesterday. I think I already knew - I had no symptoms (I already had symptoms by this point last time)....

So, I'm back to the clinic in a couple of weeks to review the cycle and try to figure out what went wrong. Honestly, I can't figure it out. Had 5 transfered, 2 were 'best' grade possible (no fragmentation) and 2 were only second best grade possible. I need to do some research on how to improve chances of implantation if we're going to try this again.

Major bummer!

Suzhan- I am soooo sorry. I wish there were words of comfort or wisdom I can offer. I so hoped this was it for you. Let us know what the doctor says. Take care of yourself and let yourself be sad, it is heartbreaking. We are ALL here for you.

I just got back from the doctor as I am having an "allergic" like reaction to the progesterone shot. I have itchyness and hives all over my behind. Some swelling among other things. I thnk they are switching me to the supositories (sp?) three times a day.

Anyone doing that? Is it awful?

Wannababy- Wishing you lots of luck and some good sticking :D

Suzhan - I am so sorry about your test results. I really hope they figure out what went wrong so that it can be prevented the next time.

Wannababy - Best of luck with everything. I truly hope the time from now until September 1st flies for you so the dreaded 2ww doesn't seem like an eternity.

hopeful - Here's to more ripened follicles  . I hope the ER happens on Thursday and I hope you have plenty to retrieve.

samandaw - I am sorry to hear about the hives. What an awful place to get them. Can you take anything to help ease the itchiness? Is your progesterone in sesame or olive oil? Do the doctors know what could have caused the allergic reaction - was it the oil or the progesterone itself?

I took my first shot of Lupron this evening. I wasn't as bad at administering a shot to myself as I thought I would be and the shot itself wasn't that bad either. It kind of reminded me of what it feels like when I get bit by a mosquito.

suzhan- I am very sorry to hear about u. I am sure Dr's will figure out what went wrong and will fix it in next cycle. Take care dear.

Wannababy- All the best wishes to you.

My small follicles are not growing that fast so my Dr is having me continue my stims and is postponing my ER. I am happy that he's waiting for small follicles to grow for couple more days. Hopefully my ER will be on 25th or 26th. Will keep u gals posted with the changes.

Lola- Yep, it looks like our ER's will be pretty close :)

I've been avoiding caffine for couple of months now. I drink 2 small cups of tea (< 60 mcg) in a day as when I don't drink I get irritated and thus we decided taking in small quantities is better then having a spoiled mood.

I am on seaseme oil and the doctor just said my body just "had enough". They said they have never seen this reaction before. I have been putting diaper rash ointment on it. Boy is this an attractive sight for my DH. We certainly have nothing to hide anymore.

Has anyone taken the suppostories before?

Hello everyone, time for an update again!!!!

Sam (Denver, Colorado) Aug 13 BFP!! 9/7 - u/s for h/b and to determine if it's one or two
Alicia (Yuma, Arizona) Aug 17 ET - after bed rest now, 1st Beta 8/29
Champa Aug 25 or 26th - ER
Wannababy ( New Jersey) Aug 21 ET - bed rest now, 1st Beta 9/1
Lola (California) Aug 22 - cancelled cycle due to poor response
Mia (Las Vegas, NE) Aug 24 ER
Suzhan (California) Aug 21 - BFN
Myhb Aug 22 Started Lupron

Suzhan - I am very sorry about your BFN, I know it is a bummer. It feels like the road is neverending, but you have to be positive now and I know it will happen for you!!! At least you are responding to the drugs well and it is just a matter of time.

Girls, I am almost crying as I am writing this, my cycle was cancelled, because I responded poorly to follistim. My estrogen was only 30 today and I had only a few follicles. I have to get off the shots and just wait for my period to come, which will take about a month and then we will start again. My RE will try a different drug then and he said he will not put me on Lupron, there will be no down regulation, just BCP and then stimulation. I hope I will respond then. I was such a basket case today. I guess I was ready for every option but this one. I just did not expect this. I have to do a little research and find out little bit more about this. I don't understand what is wrong with me, I am very healthy and I never had any OB problems or anything... I guess everybody responds differently.

Wannababy --- I wish you all the best and hope I can add another BFP soon!!! Sending lots of baby dust your way

Sam --- Just so you know, when I am not very "regular" I try to eat 20 baby carrots a day and boy, it helps!!!!

Mia--- good luck with your shot tonight!

Lola,

I am so sorry, I imagine you are so disappointed. I would have just fallen apart if I got that news. I do know that this is such a difficult process and everything needs to line up perfectly in order for it all to work. I know it is hard but it is the best to wait and have it be just perfect. I would rather hear your doctor cancel it than try and go through with it and you only get an egg or two and not of good quality. That would be more emotional and a lot more money. Hang in there.

Don't leave us. We will be with you until you invite us to your baby's first birthday!!! We promise. Hang in there!!!

I agree that this is probably more cost efficient and hopefully I will respond better next time. I just have to wait again ufff :?

Lola, :( bummer. I'm so sorry. I'm sure it's for the best and I'm confident you'll do really well next month with different meds. I'll be right here to cheer you on (((((hugs))))).

Champa, a day can make a big difference :). I had another u/s today and my largest follicle is about 26mm in size, up from around 20mm the day before. They seem to have grown a little faster towards the end too. Good luck! Grow champa follies grow!!

I got my instructions this afternoon and I'll be getting my trigger shot tonight at 9:30. I have my ER on Thursday at 8:30 AM, bright and early.

Lola - (((BIG HUG))) I am so sorry, wish I could say something to make it better. At least you have a doctor thats doing whats best for you in the long run. I hope this doesn't mean you are leaving our board, you are one of the strongest and most vibrant woman on our board. You always make me smile and go that extra mile for everyone.

Sam - My RE has me doing both the injection and the suppostories. Its not a big deal at all. I would choose them over the injections anyday. Sorry about your hives, I sure hope you feel better.

Wannababy - Congrats on your beautiful 3 embies!!!! Your beta is only a few days after mine. Hope bedrest goes by quickly for you. Keep your sprits up.

Suzhan - I am really sorry and I hate having to say that to you. I wish you all the luck and hopefully you can begin the journey again soon. Let us know what the doctor suggest.

Mia - 8 follies is awesome  Keep up the good work. Your ER will be here before you know it.

As for me I am now just patiently (ha ha) waiting for next Tuesday. I am starting to really get nervous. Some days I feel like its really possible and then other times I'm trying to face the fact it may not happen. I am still having mild cramping and have gained about 5 pounds just this week. Thanks everyone for listening and supporting me.

Love you all,
Alicia
