Test Dates for SCB

I thought I'd start a new thread with all our test dates so we don't miss anyone! Nikola (me!) - 25th July Ann - 25th Val - 25th? Sarah - 25th Donna - 19th? Di - next week! ....have I forgotten anyone? Fingers crossed!!

Just thought I would write to see how everyone is coping with the dreaded 2WW! I hope that you are all doing well and that time isn't going too slowly. Gosh there are lots testing on the 25th! there will be so many lucky candels lit I will have to be carefull I dont burn my house down!!!! Good luck everyone Trace x

just wanted to wish you all good luck with your 2ww & testing!! im not quite there yet, ec 23rd sep all being well. have my first scan tomorrow so fingers crossed they'll see lots of eggys growing (sure feels like somethings happening!) i'll be thinking about you all and hope the 2ww flys in for you. love hayley

Hi All, Yep I test this week! Ahh the pressure is really getting to me - i hate this as I've been here so many times and I get so confused about what my body is doing and should I trust it! I have to send urine sample down to The Park in Notts on Sat and should have results on 23rd! But I will definetly know myself by then! Good luck to Hayley for scan tomorrow! I hope the 25th is lucky for you all - and all the best to Donna for 19th! Di

hi nikola thanks for your message. im doing fine...injections alot easier than the last time. im using the puregon pen which is great ( so far

) fingers crossed that i've follies tomorrow as im on a lower dosage this time as ohss last cycle sh** we have builders working at the house at the mo and they have just reversed their digger into my car!!!!!! got a go hayley

well... i needed that like a hole in the head! they flippin reversed their digger into my car and have smashed the bonnett! i think its still driveable... its only a year old

ahh well no-one was hurt and im sure they have insurance to cover it. why is it when you try so hard to not have stress in your life ,thats when crap happens. im away to sniff....hope your keeping well. love hayley

Oh Hayley poor you. What a complete nightmare! Silly arses. The insurance company will give you another car whilst they mend yours - what a pain in the butt. Try not to worry (easier said than done I know!!) concentrate on your sniffing & injecting!! Take care love nikola.xx

well , just back from my first scan (5 days of injections) and they want to scan me again on thursday as they think im on the verge of over stim again!!! even though i am on the lowest dosage, i have approx 12 follices at about 14mm today. i know its good news but im so worried as they also saw 'fibroid' at the neck of my womb....never had that before

im feeling really bloated and sore at the mo so they are thinking of bringing ec forward to Friday, depending on the scan on thursday.... im sure this message is all gobblyguck but my heads in a spin. hope everyone is well love hayley

Hi All, Hope the 25th is a good day as I test then too! May see July Ann at Bourn on that day. I had FET yesterday. Neither of our 2 dayers made it so they defrosted another 2 blastos. So far all have survived the defrost and we have 1 more left. Have been computerless for the last couple of days as DH decided he had to decorate study before ET as you are supposed to avoid paint fumes afterwards. Good luck to all on the 2WW. I spent yesterday in bed and plan to do the same today and tomorrow. I have tried lying down, and carrying on as usual before, but am feeling very tired at the moment (maybe due to the higher dose of drugs I'm taking?) so have decided to do what my body wants. I'm also taking low dose aspirin as well this time. I checked with the consultant and she said this was ok. Feeling pretty relaxed at the moment, but then I think I am past believing this will ever work for me!! Anyway, off to drink cranberry juice and lay down again. Love Karen XX

hi karen glad to see you are back. i'm not ment to test untill the 26 of september but i know i will not beable to wait, naughty me..so glad fet went well you know that with blastocysts that the pg rate goes up to 50%. i tried a couple of months ago with blastocyst but none of my 7 made it past day three.I bet we have seen each other in the waiting room,i have to go back on friday because i'm on the trial they want more blood. haley that is good news, do not worry about the fibroid i always get one when i'm on the tmt then it goes away when i stop. mine is in the same place as yours and the doctor was not worried about it at all. so try and keep positive about the eggs you are growing.. hope you are well nikola. well sorry to but in from july ann

Hayley - poor you first the digger now this! I'm sure as July Ann says the fibroid is nothing to worry about - its hardly surprising given the amount of drugs we have to take! Also on the cooking early front, I'm always v.quick to cook, this time was a record and had some over 17mm on my first scan! I was cooked and ready by day 8 - which will be about the same as you. I'm sure you'll be fine, but will be watching for an update after your next scan on Thurs - then you can join the rest of us on the 2WW and pessaries - hurrah! July Ann glad to see you are keeping positive - are you feeling better? Not long now, just over a week! It will soon pass. Hey Karen you can be part of the 25th group too!! Law of averages says that someone will get pg on that day - lets hope its all of us! Nearly all the ACB had +ve results, lets hope the luck is still running for September!! Cranberry juice - yummy, have you tried mixing it with orange juice - delicious!! love to everyone else! nikola.xx

Karen-glad your back & ok.......you still sound positive, keep it up Hayley-bummer about the builders!! Let your husband deal with it, you just sit back & relax....(easier said than done) We just got a call from DG company to say our windows are in & they are coming round to install......yep you guessed, 25/09 Have deffo decided now to test 26/09 instead as I have the 26th booked off work & I dont really fancy peeing on a stick with no windows!! & DGlazing guys peering in!! Can you imagine!! Not sure if I will hold off but there is a bit of me that wants to put it off as not looking forward to doing test(is this normal??) Also, I know it sounds daft but there are so many of testing 25th that I keep thinking I will be the 1 with a -ve & dont want to let the side down.... Anyway, am talking b.....s now so signing off TTFN (as Tigger would say) Sarah xx
