Good Morning Everyone.

I hope you all had a great weekend.

Rachel - That is fantastic. I'm sure you will have a great time.

Well AF came this morning. I made my appointment for day 3 blood work and for a sono to see if my cysts are gone. If so, I'll be off and running. Wish me luck.

Have a great day everyone.

Nance -- WooHoo Congrats on the witch showing up!! Now will you start some kind of suppression drug like Lupron or are you ready for stims??

Rachel -- I am so excited for you and dh! I know you will have a wonderful time and you deserve it!!! I hope you come back a new women!!!

Jen1d-- Welcome!! Hopefully now that you got your tubes out of the way, this will be the cycle for you!! Good Luck!!

Jordan22-- Sorry to be dumb but what is MTHFR??? Sounds like a cuss word to me! LOL!! Sorry sometimes I have a weird sense of humor!! Now seriously, Have you alway known or did you find out when you started trying to conceive? I made them do the APA blood work after my miscarriage and I came back borderline for clotting issues and they said they would put me on baby aspirin on day of ET. That is what they did on my FET and all I know is my bum was sure bruised up more!!! Ouch!!!

As for me I will be doing the AF jig so that I can get my Official plan of when everything is going to happen!! Which I have a good idea, because I am so obsessive about planning everything out, that I emailed my IVF nurse and asked her to give me an estimated calendar if AF start on time!!!

Why is it I am so worried about my IVF affecting my work and I don't want anyone have to fill in for me?!??! I am the only backup person for payroll and the payroll girl will be out the second week of Oct. thus during my cycle!! I was so worried about it and told her that my cycle could be that week and she was like no problem she would have the accountant do it!! Dang and I got myself all worked up for no reason!!!! Hubby gets on to me about it and I am trying to do better!! Still haven't told my boss, I am so chicken!!! He is out of town till Friday will see if I have the balls to do it then!!! LOL!!!

I am usually pretty calm but I have a feeling that I might be crazy during this cycle! Just prewarning you ladies!!! LOL!

Hope all well and hope you have a great week!!

woooohoooo Rachel.... have a great time!!!!

Jeck.. ROTF.. you are cracking me up... MTHFR is a blood clotting issue and we have been TTC for 8 years but JUST found out about it.. nice huh.... My RE has most patients take baby asprin all cycle.. not sure why.. I was also on Heprin from ER to BFN... (I still have the bruises on my tummy from that)

well AF is FINALLY here.. lol... i was on the pill last month and will now take just the active pills until IVF.. wooohoooo this WILL be my last AF for a LOOOOONG time..

I am waiting to hear from the money girl at my RE office (you have to meet with her first) but looks like we have enough ins to cover another fresh cycle... then I will get my calander sometime the end of Sept... now to just get off my booty and loose some weight.. and excersise a little..

Hey Tonia!! I guess I have that cuss word too!!! I just tested boarderline after my loss and boarderline is not supposed to affect pregnancy... I asked RE if this test could vary and if you could go from boarderline to full blown. She said sometimes when you get pregnant your test results could vary and if I get a +ve they will retest me to see if I need heparin or if aspirin will be enough!

I know the bruises from my July FET took forever to go away!!! Your poor tummy!!

Man you are so lucky to have insurance to cover IVF!!! What company offers this?!?!? Maybe I should send hubby to work there!!!

WooHoo on your AF showing up!!! Now I am a little confused, how is this your last AF and you don't get your plan until the end of Sept??? I will have this AF and hopefully my last one around my suppression check... Just curious...

Hi again everyone,

Jeck - The nurse at my RE told me that on day 21 (if the cysts are gone)I will start Lupron for two weeks then something else (I can't remember exactly what the drug was called) to stimulate. I know I have to make an appointment for me and my DH to go to the instructional call to go over everything. I guess I'll do that when I get the results of my sono back.

I'm in the same boat as you at work. I am the only person here that does payroll so I am really nervous about being out but I just keep telling myself that it will work out. I am going to wait until I get the go ahead from my RE for this cycle before telling my boss that I will be out. I'll do everything I can do to make it easy for whoever is going to fill in for me but I'm going to try to focus on me and not work (that is easier said then done but I will try).

Jordon22 - It looks like you and I are on the same cycle. Do you know what your next step is? This is the first time I am actually happy about AF showing up for a very long time. I also want to try to lose a little weight before I start the meds but I find that when I am stressed I go directly to the fridge for comfort. I am going to try to walk on my lunch hour for at least a 1/2 hour a day that should help a little.

I hope everyone has a great day. Talk to you soon.

Count me in too

Post by ka »

Hi all,

I just had my BFN yesterday :-(. Cried and wailed and did all the regular stuff that we with BFNs do yesterday (wiping my nose on my shirt sleeve).

Now, getting on with my life... We will be doing our IVF #2 sometime towards the end of Sept with EC and ET in October. So, count me in gals...

Why doesn't this hated b**ch AF arrive when we need her to? I need her to start my bcps !!!

Kams - I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN. I know how horrible that feeling is. I usually curl up in a little ball on my couch with my cat and feel sorry for myself for the day. But you have the right attitute about looking foward that is what I try to do also. Welcome aboard and I look forward to sharing this journey with you and the other members of the group.

(((KAMS)))) Well crap.. I am sorry about you BFN.....but welcome...

Jeck... My RE wants me to stay on active BCPs only until I start lupron.. sooo wooohooo I don;t have to see her again... (I think it helps lyning.. maybe???) Oh my Dh works for a small company.. so we were shocked when we found out we had IVF coverage.. but his company also just got bought by another much bigger company.. but I think they also have coverage for IVF and better (3 IVF cycles) but that has not been confirmed... and hopefully I wont even need it...

Nance... I think my next step right now is waiting.. lol I am on the BCPs and then I will meet with the money gilr at the RE office (just to make sure we have everything with ins in place) then I will most likely start Lupron sometime end of Sept (maybe) I can't remember how long I was on it before.. I also need to have an IV of intralipids (like IVIG) for my NK cells.. YUCK... that has to be done forefor stims (maybe even Lupron) not sure yet..... What about you... what is your next step???

AAAHHH!!

Post by Nance »

Good Morning Everyone,

So I had my day 3 testing done this morning and I still have a cyst so I have to wait until later today for the blood tests results come back in to see if they want to go ahead this cycle or put me on BCP for a month or wait until next cycle . . . again. This is so frustrating, I just want to get this all started with. The waiting and worrying and obsessing is the worst part of this whole thing.

Sorry to vent so early in the morning.

How is everyone else today? Any updates?

Nance--Sorry that your having a bad day

I hope your bloods come back good!

I know what you mean this whole process is a hurry and wait for everything!! It gets to you sometimes!!!

As for me I am just waiting for AF, ho hum boring!! She should be here Friday, but I am not feeling any signs of her!! I will have a different IVF nurse this time to call when I start AF and she will give me my plan. I really liked my other nurse and I am not to thrilled about having a different one. :?

So we are all playing the waiting game!! What fun!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm new as well and thought if the waters warm, I would jump in :D I just suffered a m/c after my first IVF attempt and am finally getting over the flood of emotions it brings. I too will start meds again the end of Sept. so will be going through the final phase in the middle of October. As I've read through everyones posts, it almost appears as if you are all family. So caring and supportive and God knows I can use that right now. Friends and family are so wonderful but you can't truly know what this is like until you've been through it. Thanks to all for being here!!!
