Thanks everyone for your good luck wishes :) .
My RE says that I have 12 follies and they usually get an average of 70% with eggs. He predicts we'll get around 7 eggs. I'm hopeful that what ever we get that they are healthy and fertilize well. He said that I had a slight heart murmur during my pre-op exam today. He asked if I've ever been told I have a heart murmur and I said no. He said it's probably because I'm anxious. Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm more anxious to find out how many eggs will fertilize, not so much about ER.

my RE doesn't seem worried about the heart murmur, so I'm not either. Good to know your cousin has never had problems with hers :).

I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight. I keep thinking about the embies I will (hopefully) have :?. I promise to update everyone afterwards.

Macca-- How are you doing??? I sure hope you were having implantation bleeding from both your little ones!!!! I just dread the 2ww, its as if time stops!! I hope yours is flying by for you!!!

Mia--Good luck on your ER tomorrow!!

Emma--Good luck and I hope that your homones stay in check!!

CasyP-- I know what you mean this thread is very busy, I have given up on keeping up. So if I ever miss anyone they will just have to forgive me!!! This site is very addictive!!!!

Becky--don't worry about offending anyone... We all have to make hard decisions during this process and you are the one that live with those decisions so you do what is best for you. I had 3 frozen and they were originally going to transfer only the 2 best out of the 3. I couldn't destry 1, so they transferred all 3, I had to give them all a chance.

Aunty--You are so supportive of everyone!!! I am so glad that I read you!!! LOL!! Your smilieys always makes me smile!! Are you still doing the jig or has she showed up???

KarenW--I hope everything goes well and your cycle is not cancelled! Remember it is quality not quantity!! I know what you mean about the site being busy!!! LOL!! Hard to keep up!!! I think I will take notes too!!!

Vickie--Welcome!! Look forward to getting to know you!!! I have tube problems too, I had an ectopic in the left one and they had to remove it so I only have 1 and the little hairs that are in your tubes that move the embie into place don't work on me!! So here I am!! Good Luck to you!!!

Jackie--did you get a puppy??? Are you not starting with this AF, I can't keep up with this thread, its so busy so I might have missed something?!?!

Sorry if I missed anyone, I am still trying to learn who is who on this thread!!!

Good Luck to all and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!!

Aunty!!! Angel with fangs huh???? LOL!!! Hubby says mine is coming too, don't know where he got that!!!

My tube problem stims from my lung disease. Weird I know, but you have these little hairs called cilia in your lungs that filter everything and mine do not work. Well you have these little cilia in your fallopian tubes too they help move the embie to your uterus and drs never could tell me if the ones in my falliopian tubes would be affected by my lung disease so we tried clomid and got preggers but unfortunely it was an ectopic, went to fertility doc and she suggested IVF would be the best for me!!

So your having a little problem with your baby vits huh!! LOL!! I don't hardley ever have that problem it usually the other way for me. You know that projesterone usually stops everyone, well not me it has the other affect on me!!! I am weird anyway!!!!

Yeap AF is due friday, saw a red spot earlier but I think I most likely cut myself checking so much!!!

Hope yours shows up soon!!!

Zirly-- Sorry that you have such an side affect!! Gosh, I didn't have that so maybe someone can help you out. I would call RE and let them know!

Good Night all!!

Good morning everyone

This thread is just so active at the moment I can hardly keep up. I nip upstairs for a quick look on the computer and it takes 15 minutes to catch up with what everyone is doing. Anyway I really should be back downstairs at work by now so sorry no personals today. I just wanted to say to Aunty that I had the same problem. After my second round of IUI I had problems with a raised heartbeat (120-160 per min). They did loads of tests and in the end my doctor decided I was anemic and suffering from a form of ME. He told me then to start taking Iron along with folic acid. We decided that as I was ttc and didn't want to take anything that was dangerous to pregnancy to take the pregnancy ones. (I dread bumping into anyone when I buy them and having to explain that not yet but hopefully.) To start with I am really constipated but the doctor advised me to continue as the benefits outweighed the bad efffects. I found drinking lots of water helped along with eating dried fruits. After a few weeks I think my body got used to them and I am alright now.

Well I had better go to work now. I will look in again this afternoon before my nap.

Morning ladies

We have so many great people on our September thread, its great!

Vickie and Becky - looks like we are at the same stage, right? Next week is the BIG week for us and then the dreaded 2ww! How are you both feeling about it? I am super nervous about EC but excited about the rest. I am feeling positive at the moment but keep thinking I'm going to come crashing down with a bump. I'm trying so hard not to get too excited and stay realistic but its difficult...

I too have had quite a bit of discomfort low down, especially on my left side, and feel rather bloated and gassy....(sorry TMI!). The fact that it means our follies are growing nicely in there kind of outweights the discomfort though... :)

To everyone else, its so busy here on September I can hardly keep up! But I wish you all all the very best.

Good Morning Ladies :)

Wooo what a time of it we all are having! I cant keep up with these postings, so many people - so little time lol. I am in work at the moment :( and trying to read all the posts, and also do some actuall work lol!

Ems & Vickie:

Yes - it looks like we are all at the same stage together :D
I am nervous about the EC on Tuesday, but also excited, trying not to think about it too much (haha really difficult)
The most exciting thing is waking up every morning, injecting myself - and seeing the needles wither away and the needle box filling up :D (lol) i cant wait to finish those damn needles :x - im down to my last 2 of the superfact now - just Friday and Saturday left - woooo hooooo  Scan on Sunday and then EC on Tuesday.
Im excited, but really really nervous about it. Im dreading the 2ww, what to do with myself - i want to be able to carry on as normal as possible, but yet i want to be wrapped in cotton wool just in case. How do all you ladies cope with it?

Im also trying to be positive - but also worried that i will come down with a bang - its nice to know that there are all you nice ladies out there who i can talk to, (my DH is wonderful, but its not the same as talking to someone who has been thru this before, or going thru it at the same time) none of our family or any of our friends know we are doing the IVF - so its hard that i have to carry on as normal as i possibly can with everyone i know.

Thank you all for your support ...

Keep me posted ...

Have to get back to work here, my boss is giving me strange looks (lol)talk to u all soon

Jeck,

I was laughing when you mentioned the progesterone making you have diahorrea. I thought there was something wrong with me when I suddenly starting getting bouts of it and losing weight aswell. Then I read the leaflet on the progesterone pessaries and it says it can cause diahorrea and gas..woops!!!

So how's everyone else today.???

I was awake most of the night with a poorly tummy. I was scared at one point and thought oh no..what if its AF..luckily it settled about 5am and it has been quiet since.

Lisa, hi...glad the tummy pains went off for you last night...how are you coping with the 2ww? I am DREADING it and know it will be the longest 2 weeks of my life. Are you working throughout yours? If not how have you kept yourself occupied? Sorry, questions questions
Not long now til you test...are you planning on doing the test when you're supposed to or do you think you will cave and do a sneaky early one? I don't know how you're being so good. I have decided not to have any HPTs in the house until the end of the 2ww - don't know how I will manager that as I am THE most impatient person in the world!!
I seem to remember it being almost a 3 week wait with your clinic, right? Will you wait that long?

Emma,

I have found the 2ww really boring. I am a very active person so not been able to get on with it has really been a challenge for me. When I stayed in bed for 3 days it was a nightmare. I can't sleep in the day so my mind was active but the body unwilling. I don't have a normal job/career so to speak anymore. I use to have quite a challenging job that took me all over the place, I was a busy girl indeed and then we decided I would take a career break and have a bash at the IVF. It was a very hard decision to make as my old job was extremely well paid and very exciting but it took over my life 24/7. So I've been doing a degree since in business law and I own a small business doing gel & acrylic nails, beauty, various treatments. It use to be just my hobby but I trained to make it a short term career and it keeps me busy while I am doing my degree. It's nice because I am never stressed with it, it's calming.

I don't know if I will do a test early. I certainly won't be waiting until the 4th Sept but maybe late next week. I don't have a test in the house and I promised hubby I wouldn't buy one. I don't know what to think at the moment. I have the sorest boobs ever. They really hurt too but it maybe is a result of the pessaries I take. My womb tingles every so often and then at night It seems upset. Might be AF, might be 2 babies causing trouble in there. I must admit even if I get a BFP, I won't be jumping for joy until scan. I've been down this road so many times before and no baby to show for it (even 14 weeks preg once) Don't get me wrong I am normally a very positive person but I'm lying on the side of caution where baby matters are concerned.

No matter what happens to me though I will still be here cheering all you lovely ladies on.
