T-shaped uterus

Post by smileydi »

Hi! I am new to this message board and I am currently taking Menopur to undergo my second IVF. I changed RE after my 1st failed IVF. This RE found out that I have a T-shaped uterus. I am wondering if anyone else here has this uterine shape? I am also having acupuntcure 2x per week this time around. I find it relaxing and my acupuncturist has given me do's and don'ts that make sense. Blessings to all and thanks for sharing!!

.I have not heard of T-shape.. However, I have tilted uterus.. I am not sure if this is the same thing.... The re told me that nothing to worry about... I am going through acupuncture right now.. What are dos and don'ts your acupuncturist told you? Mine told me pretty much stay way from chicken, soda, lots of exercise, drinks plenty of water, get enough sleep... She checks my tongue everything I got to her.. I go once a week

My acupuncturist advised me to not eat: ice cream, no raw vegetables, and no pizza. Do you know why you were told to avoid eating chicken? I do get enough sleep and I don't drink soda anyway. I drink lots of water. Unfortunately, I have not been exercising enough this past year!

she told me because chicken has lots of hormons.. She suggested fish, lots of vegetable. Also, easy on working out. She said that when you wok out you body produce lots of acid...

Luvbabies, I pay 70 per session.

Really?!... The only foods I was told to stay away from are fish-because of high mercury levels and caffeine.
Very intersting...

Smileydi- Why no pizza?

My acupuncture visits are $80 per session. I just started back about a week before I started stim this time around. I have been going twice per week since I didn't start sooner. I went for acu. a few times after my last failed IVF but then stopped when I was put on Lupron PLUS I wasn't into it at that point. This time I felt strongly about going and I wanted to combine Western and Eatern med. So, no cold drinks or food to keep the body (uterus) warm. No fried foods and pizza too much fat. I have cold feet and she said, "cold feet=cold uterus". So she has been working on my circulation. So I am not to walk bare footed and I keep my feet warm. She helps me to remember to relax and to not forget that it is out of my hands... I love pizza, ice cream, cold water, etc. but I am willing to follow what she has advised!! I just hope and pray that we are all blessed with healthy babies soon!!

food restrictions?

Post by Mazy++ »

Hi there,
So many restrictions, I'm trying to make a list of what I can eat but there's almost nothing left. I have been eating chicken, but I get the organic kind with out the hormones, I wonder if that's all right. And, no more fish with mercury, no pizza (oh nooo), the hardest for me is no caffeine. Does anyone have any more specific restrictions, especially regaring caffeine/coffee and organic chicken...and I also heard no dairy products. This is getting so confusing.
thank you for your help!
