Hi Louise

Thanks for your reply.
I am at Kings in South East London, I live in Essex so we have a two hour (if the traffic is OK) drive in. It is OK, we are used to driving everywhere anyway.
I am injecting once a day. The headaches are OK just a minor ache really however I have found that I do lose my temper VERY easily which is not like me and last night I felt quite down. I guess that it IS the drugs. Apart from those minor things I feel fine, don't want to get too excited at this stage just take one step at a time. I think that it will change once I start stimulating, I think then it will all become much more nerve wracking!
What stimulating drugs will you take? I have Gonal F 450iu (which I think is the max dose because of my age, 39 in Dec).

We have slight male factor which is why we have to go for ICSI, I do have two children from my first marriage which in one way is a comfort and at least I know I can carry till term but in another way it makes this all harder to come to terms with. I often feel that why was I able to create children with a man who went on to leave us all and is not much of a father, and not be able to do the same thing with my DH who I love more than I can say and is the most fantastic step dad to my two that I could ever wish for! Sometimes life is very lopsided isn't it?

I take it that you live in the North East as you are at Newcastle. My first husband's family all live in Durham, just outside the centre of the city. It is a lovely city Durham, I like it there a lot.

Well I will go now as I need to do the weekly shop today, keep smiling and have a good weekend,

love Lorraine
