Mia--Way to go on your ER, can't wait to hear your embie report!!

Jackie-- I have never seen a labradoodle you will have to post a picture. We have labs also. Ravin is 1yr old and she gets to come in at night and Duke and Lexie stay at the farm across the street from our house. All the labs are with hubby during the day on the farm. I have to tell a story about Ravin: The other night my hubby went to visit a friend and he left Ravin in the jeep with the windows halfway down. He looked out the window to check on her and he could tell she was getting anxious and so he started watching her... Well she jumped out the jeep and went and took a poop and then came back to the jeep and jumped back in it!!! I just thought I would die when he told me that, she is so smart and can really jump high!!

I went got my hair cut today!! I love it but I don't think I will be able to fix it. I just don't have that knack! I just hate people that do!!

Hope everyone has a great night!!

Wow girls.. :D This thread so busy. Last I on line page 27 now 34. Amazing.

Debz, honey I think u right. I get confused when everybody talked about eggs and lining. I didn't have anything to tell. Dr probably do baseline scan for me after BC finished. Thanks a lot. Yes! After BC I start Gonal Etc on 2nd day of next AF. I am so happy nurse said they won't charge me if I am afraid to inject by myself. Of course I am afraid!

Jackie, I think my Dh will do the same like yours. I have to be very careful with date too that's why I bought a new book for me to remember everything. I forget everything easily. Now, I forget where I put the paper Nurse given to me. I am too can't wait to see BFP for u. We are all here deserved it. Has u got info about 'keeping the stomach warm'? What info do u got?

Macca, how r u? I am keeping everything tightly crossed for you

Sorry, today I’m busy. I will read later. For everybody else, Good luck with AF, BC, scan, stim, EC and ET. I think only Macca in 2 WW now, right? All the best for u.

I have to go. I have an appointment with my dentist. Just check up. Also after reading Jeck (Hi Jeck…. :D ) cut her hair, I must do hair cut too!!! So glad to be here...

Bye everybody... Talk to u soon

Hi all,

Well...hasn't it been a busy little place here...

haven't been able to get onto the computer as it died on us 2days ago, luckily a good firnd is a PC geek and has let us borrow a spare one of his. But, it looks like our hard-drive is knackered and we have lost everything on it...i'm mostly upset about the photo's we have on it...our weddign photo's and fiends weddign photo's.......NOTE TO SELF..BACK UP COMPUTER IN FUTURE!!!

So, started Buserelin yesterday. Went to clinic to pick up the drug pack and Alex (the nurse) showed us how to do everything and go me to do the first injection there. In typicle Ange fashion, I reacted to the Buserilin, came up in a big itchy red welt. Alex got another nurse to check it and apparently is a common side effect....anyone else had this??
but, to be on the safe side wanted me to go back in this mornign to do the 2nd injection....It came up worse

So, if it continues to get worse each day I may have to change to Luprin!
But on the up side giving my self the injection was easy..

Haylie:- was thinkng about you also, how did your first day go?

Hope all is well with everyone else.

Good morning

Jemma honey I am glad to see you back. That is great news about the dentist went well. The book was a brillant idea I wish I would have thought about that.. Now I am not really sure what meds I was on last time.. For the tummy I heard other ladies talking about it helps to grow the follies.. They said you could use a hot water bottle during stims but you dont want to use it after they take the little guys out or put them back. I did it last time.. For me it helped with some of the pain (that was going on down there) I am glad to have you back :D

For the accupuncuture what I have heard is half and half on during the 2ww. My acc doc says that you should have the acc during the 2ww because he feels it helps the embies hold on in place. I have a good friend that was using injections and she did acc during the 2ww and she is also preggers.. One thing to keep in mind is each acc doc (like other docs) have there own way. My acc says during the 2ww is good yet others say they dont treat there patients during the 2ww. One thing I told Aunty that is really important is some acc doc's want to see there patients within a half an hour before and after the ET. For me my doc said he just wanted to see me within a couple of days.. With the location of my clinic for IVF the half and hour thing would not have worked for us anyway.. Jemma what does your acc doc say about during the 2ww?

Zirly
I am sorry you are not feeling well. I am with Aunty have you phoned the doc? I did not have the gas and bloating during the stims I felt that more once I had the ET :?

Macca our mommy in waiting how are you honey? We are all praying for you :D :D

Mia
Well done with 11 just go put your feet up and keep us posted :D

Jeck
Oh your puppies sound so sweet (and yes your Ravin is quite the smart little one :D ) I will have to post a photo of the pup on Photobucket once he is home and settled..I am with you on the hair thing I go and it looks really cute and fun and than I come home and I am like Aunty.. Some kind of medussa on speed.. I have to run in the rain so if I have made my hair strait it does not end up like a huge mass on my head (half curly half strait) its quite the scene

Islacraig
that happend to DH and I once and I was so sad.. We lost a lot of info on the computer.. When do you do your second injection (to see about the reaction) maybe it was just the first time reaction  so maybe nextime it will be better :D

Welsh (Becky) its funny huh how we can be excited about all the goings on in there and if there is a little pain or discomofort we are even happier  So here is hoping you have a little (not too much) discomfort all day (so you know things are busy working in there) :D :D

Aunty
Any AF for you honey? If not I will have to go find her and bring her to your house (oooh and I think Jecks too right) ok well I will stopy by Auntys first and than on the way to Jecks

Love and hugs to all

Hi there

Ange - I was also thinking about you and sorry you seem to have reacted, luckily I didn't I just get a sore red patch that tends to go after about an hour. I am numbing the area 1st with an ice so I can't feel the needle go in! the worst part then is feeling the liquid going in.
I am injecting in my stomach where are you doing yours?

Jackie - you'll love having a puppie, DH bought me a little westie named Archie, he is 2 in November and I don't know what I would do without him he is my baby!

Glad you are better Becky, good luck for Sunday

Mia - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you let us know how you get on. Vickie - how did you get on?

Debz - we are still doing the AF jig how's it going?

Take care
Hx

I just came back from the doctor. Bad news for me: they found a small cyst during u/s. Now I'm waiting to hear from them whether I need to delay the stims a little bit or .... (i don't even want to think about it). It will depend on my blood test.
How can I work when this is on my mind?

I'll let you know. Wish me luck.

Just a quick post to ask for some PMA. I did my first stim injection yesterday which was fine, but today I feel awful. It is so hard to describe how or why, almost as if I have run completely out of energy and my brain isn't working at all well. I am sure it is just a side effect, and shows that even the first injection has had an effect. Still I am just trying to find it hard today to see if this is all worth the suffering just in case it doesn't work. Anyway I am off to bed now for a bit and will look in later.

Take care everyone
Angela

Hi all

Ange n Haylie, so sorry about the injection pain. I am also 1st time IVF like you. I bet I will feel worst than u, I really hate needles. I skip accu a lot because those needles. Just keep thinking about the end result. Ur dream will come true soon. All the best to u. :D

For all other 1st timer IVF, Zirly, Mia, KF 06 (Sorry if i miss somebody). Keep PMA. Just hangin there. Sorry, if I don't keep PMA when doing stim, u can be angry to me
Forgive me, I know it’s always easy to ‘say’; especially I haven't been yet in ur stage. All the best for u. God Bless.

debz, honey I saw ur ticker. U will start soon. Hope ur AF coming soon. It's good, u start accu. I promise to do it more often. May be 2 times a week. I will go to 2 accu DR. They are both using different technique. I don't know which one use the right procedure. I think I must go both. Anyway, the price here isn't so expensive. :D

jackie, what do u mean by hot water bottle? Sorry, this is very stupid question. U mean a real 'bottle'? Like sprite or mineral bottle? I am thinking different. I don't know if it is common is US. When i was a child, whenever i got cold. My mom put a ‘rubber’ filled with hot water, put it on my forehead. I'm thinking about that ‘rubber’ causeI am ready to borrow from my niece. Sorry this is very stupid!!!
Anyway, I haven't asked my DR about 2ww accu. I will ask. I hope I won't get 2 different opinions. Then I get confused again :D :D

Becky, u are very PMA person. I hope I can be as happy as u in pain. Good luck to u.

I met a lady. She said she gave a high salute (I hope I translate in the right way) to every woman doing IVF/IUI. She said we were very brave woman and with all the pain, we deserved BFP most. She might be never in our journey but the way she told me, I was sure its from deep of her heart. So my high salute for all of u. (I hope u understand what I’m trying to say), strong BFP to all of us. We deserve it. God Bless.

Luv, Jemma
