Lola - Thanks for the update. All the trips I've been making to Long Beach and my final beta is the only one I can do locally. So Tuesday morning I will go have my bloodtest at the lab and then wait for the RE to call! I can't wait for your next cycle to start, I pray it goes by quickly for you!

Wannababy - Glad to hear your off bedrest. Sadly, I am having no symptoms. My stomach feels heavy, but I'm sure thats all the weight I have gained. I'm nervous since I don't feel any different that maybe this whole thing didn't work. Trying to stay positive, but its hard.

Mia - :D Thats wonderful news, 11 is great! I'm sure they are all doing fine. I'm sending you lots of baby dust!!! Can't wait to hear how they are doing, please keep us updated as soon as possible.

Welcome Malinka!!! :D

Sam - Did your boobs just recently start getting bigger or did that happen before your beta test? Just curious, since I'm not really feeling anything different happening. Glad you and your baby(s) are doing good. :D

Champa - Good luck tomorrow! We will all be with you in spirit.

Love Alicia

Hopeful-How are you feeling today?

Shapooh- I started a thread for people like you--BFP and no symptoms in the 2ww. Someone posted and said they had no symptoms and was pregnant with twins--Keep hope alive!

Malinka-Welcome. You are in great company here!

St. Lola- Just wanted to give you this :D

How are the rest of you today?

I went in to have my progesterone checked this am. My nurse said that everything looked good. She said my progesterone is greater than 40 and my estadiol is 478. Does anyone know what that means?

It's weird to know that one week from today, I will know if I'm pregnant.
Take care ladies!

My ER went smoothly. I slept during the process. I didn't even see the Dr's face. After I came home, I slept for 1.5hrs. I am just feeling very mild cramping and no pain. as such. Only the hand in which they gave IV is paining slightly, when I over use it (like typing  ) Thus now I am typing with my left hand.

Out of 8 beautiful follicles DR. got 6 eggs. I was expecting even less no. of eggs as 3 follicles were pretty small. Now I am desperately waiting for tomorrow morning :)

Mia- I am dying to hear from u. Please keep us all posted.

Love,
Champa

Champa, Congrats on 6 eggs! That is plenty and I can't wait to hear about fertilization! :D

My RE finally called. 9 eggs fertilized! I'm very happy, that's double what I was expecting. :D We'll be doing a 5 or 6 day blastocyst transfer. I don't expect all my embryos to survive that long, but if I have 2 to transfer and 2 to freeze, I'll be very happy. My RE will call me Sunday to update me and hopefully I'll find out when my transfer will be.

My mom, who is Budhist, says I should start talking to my little ones now as they may have little spirits already. Say some mantras (or prayers) for them. She says that they won't all get to be born and my be working out some karma, that's why they are in this situation :? . Wow...it's something to think about. I think she's right. I'm going to pray every day for my little ones, especially for the ones that don't make it  .

Mia - You are doing so great and I just love your positive attitude. I am so excited for you, 9 is a great number. Looking forward to hearing from you Sunday.

St. Lola - I hope you have a great time this weekend you deserve it. Thanks for always keeping me positive and lifting my spirits. I really needed it this week. Image

Jemma - Welcome!

Champa - How are your embies doing? I'm praying for them. Image

Wannababy - Thanks for the info about the symptoms during this 2ww. I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster. One minute I'm thinking positive and the next I'm crying thinking the worst. I admire how strong and positive your being.

As for me, this 2ww is the worst. Image
It was all going so fast and now time is crawling by.

Wishing everyone lots of baby dust!!! Image

Hi 1st time IVF ladies,

I too had my 1st IVF in August and was given the excellent news that I am pregnant on 18th August (one day before my birthday so it was perfect). I'm still unclear as to whether I am 5 weeks 1 day gone (as per the pregnancy calculator) or 3 weeks 1 day gone (as calculated from date of ER). I have no pregnancy symptoms and it is still difficult to believe that we are now with child :-).

Just wanted to say Good luck everyone. And I hope I can join the forum and foolw everyone's progress as this is the start of an amazing journey.

Love to all
Rittie

Rittie- I think you are five weeks pregant. IT goes back to your period. I was off a bit as well but my doctors did the math for me and they said I am at 5 weeks 6 days as of today and I got my BFP on the 14th. THey said that is how all doctors do it.

Anyhow, congrats on your positive and I am excited we will be going through this jouney together. Welcome

Love,

Thank you so much for the lovely note Sam. I feel like the clinic that looked after me up to transfer and the clinic that did the transfer have not been particularly supportive since the last time I heard from them - which was when I got the BFP news. They've booked me for an initial scan on 17th September to determine if the pregnancy is viable. It seems a long wait to see if its viable. But never mind, this is one long waiting game isn't it. The 2WW, then the 6 weeks scan, then the 12 weeks.....

Lots of love
Rittie

It is a long wiat but you are pregnant. If it is not viable that just means that something fluke happened so you have to remember that you are pregnant. Enjoy it and embrace it, that is helping me out. I think pregnancy is all long as you get nervouse for so many things. I am making a choice to just relax and enjoy it since I have been waiting so long for it. If something happens it is out of my control.

You are just fine and everything will go smooth, I know it. We can keep each other company while we wait. I have 12 days to go before my scan.

Shapooh--I feel exactly the same way. I don't feel any differently. The first 3 days after the transfer I was pretty crampy. Now they cramps are minor and they come and go. I don't know if that's good or bad. The 2ww is BRUTAL! I cried in the car after having my b/w done yesterday. I just felt a little overwhelmed about this whole thing and am a bit tired of being a pin cushion. I will gladly suck it up to be a mother! It's so hard for me to wonder whether or not this worked. I'm trying to stay impartial so if the news isn't what I hope to hear on the 1st, I won't be (totally)destroyed. Stay positive and hopeful! :)

Rittie-Welcome and congrats on your BFP! Sprinkle some baby dust this way!

Hi Jemma haven't you been here before? Either way, welcome (back)!

Sam-how are you feeling?

St. Lola better be having fun! :)
