Post by kathryn »

hi this sounds horrible but we had an early m/c 6/7 weeks ago. af has just turned up (yestserday) the last 2 hours ive bled so heavily and huge lumps like walnuts! theblood is really thin and bright bright red like a nose bleed and its flooded me. my jeans are in a right state.
sorry this is so yuk , but I didnt know who else to tell and its freaked me out. I was just wandering if this has happened to anyone else????
I kknow some poor people suffer this every month but although im heavy its not like this.
is it just my body getting rid of all the yuk following the m/c? or could it be another one as we were late having af.
felling panicky at the mo but Im sure by morning everything will be fine.
if im flaping by morning Ill ring clinic.
has anyone had a similar experience???
kathryn
x

help, having a scary bleed...

Hi Kathryn,
Hope you are feeling better this morning - it's an awful thing to happen.
Sorry I can't help you, when I miscarried, it was a missed one and I had to have a D&C so everything was cleared out. I know when my friend M/C she said it was extremely heavy at the time. Maybe it's just your body having a good natural clearout in preparation for the future...Try not to think it was another M/C as you will punish yourself more than you need to.
I think you are right to phone your clinic though - if only to put your mind at rest.
Take care
Zoe x

Hi
I hope you're feeling better by the time you read this, as Zoe says it could just be clearing out stuff it hasn't got rid of before. Hope you've managed to speak to the clinic by now
Lots of love
Kat xx

Hi Kathryn,

Hope you are feeling better today. I had a really scary bleed last month, though I've not been pregnant. I also posted on here about it, as it really frightened me at the time. Like you, it was very different to the usual heavy ones I have. I was sat on the loo at 4 am with all this STUFF just flooding out of me (sorry, too much info?!) The thing is it only lasted a day or so, then it was back to normal (though still bloody (literally) awful!)
Hopefully you are over the worst now. Try not to worry too much (yeah, right) and just take things easy.

Faith xx
