Top Tips

Post by PebblesUK »

Thought it may be nice having a thread just for tips which have helped us throughout the pregnancy and early days, may be a little easier than scrolling through other posts looking for them all!

As I just said on the other thread, I used to take the musical part of the cot mobile, wind it up and place it on my bump, when the little one was born it really used to soothe her when she listened to it.

With a 3 and 4 year old I would recommend a leather sofa and laminate floor - she says after clearing up half a pint of strawberry milkshake!!

very good idea pebbs  :P 8)
obviously im no expert on babies but that never stopped me from having an opinion on anything before :? :?  8)
from charlies pregnancy so far i would say that we ahve found that a banana and a gless of milk before bed seemed to help her get through the night without any leg cramps
also found that cocoa butter anti stretch mark cream if applied libarly to belly and legs and bum  twice a day does seem to stop stretch marks ( so far anyway) 31 wks into it
should i think of any more i will be straight back on
take care all

Hi Richard

I've taken your advice on the cocoa butter and I'm now going to bed smelling like a chocolate mouse!

I hate those leg cramps, I remember them from before, I find if you tilt your foot up they go, but it hurts like hell trying to do that during a spasam! I will try the banana, any excuse to eat!

Not long for you both now. Best of luck, do you have one or two in there or should I say does Charlie have one or two??

Take care

Jo
