Start sniffing on Wednesday!!

HI there, I'm starting my first diui cycle of treatment this next week. I start sniffing on wednesday and my baseline is due on the 15th Oct. I'm still learning all of the lingo on the notice board and have gained lots of information though it seems that not many of you are going through iui or diui.Are there any of you out there???? I'm sniffing buserelin - any one had any experience of it? will I get side effects? sorry, lots of questions. I've known for ages that i'd have to go through this and now that it's here I'm quite apprehensive. would love to hear from anyone Good luck to you all Lisa x

Hi Lisa, Just wanted to say hi & welcome to this site, it will be a godsend, belierve me. Am on 2ww(2 week wait) at mo, sorry but dont know anything about diui but good luck. I did sniff buserelin, bit of a pain sniffing 3 times a day, apart from a few headaches I did not suffer any side effects Good luck in your quest to be a mum Sarah xx

Hi Lisa, Welcome to site! Good luck with your sniffing on Wed and your scan on 15th! No wonder you feel apprehensive -its all so new, but don't be afraid to ask questions - we've probably all asked the same at some point. Haven't done IUI or DIUI - just IVF and ICSI tmt's! But have used buserilen and also synarel nasal sprays - didn't really have any side-effects first few times except for taste at back of throat afterwards. Take care, Di
