FET preparation

I was wondering what things you were told not to do during preparation for FET. This time no one said anything about alcohol - makes sense since my eggs won't mature and be harvested this month. What I don't get, though is that I was told no sex this month while I am taking meds to get my uterus prepared for transfer.

Did anyone else have this restriction? Does anyone know why you can't have sex?

For my fresh cycle I was told it was so you don't cause your ovaries to twist around or have torsion, and the second reason was so you don't cause a hormone surge and premature ovulation before egg retrieval. But I don't understand why we can't have sex this time - my ovaries are not stimulated.

I guess the real reason I'm asking is because dh and I were out of town on a trip and we dtd. I just hope I didn't mess everything up.

I would love to hear from someone who did have sex the week before FET and still got pg.
