Smb mentioned Aspirin. I'm on it too - 81mg. a day. My clinic puts everybody on baby aspirin to make the blood thinner for better blood flow.

Yeah, mother-in-law, even when she is nice, is still mother-in-law. Mine is nice too but there is not such a thing as a perfect mother-in-law. There is always something...

Good Afternoon Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I did not check in this weekend but we are doing some work to our kitchen and we were running around crazy. Its good because it keeps my mind on something else for a change.

Welcome Casey and KF. Glad you can join us!

Casey - It is so nice to have someone here who has been successfull at this. It gives me hope that it might work for all of us.

KF-I know how you feel. I have a small cycst this cycle and my RE already told me that we might have to cancel if it gets any bigger (I have to go back on 9/12 for them to take a look and see what they think). It is so frustrating to get this far and then have to put the brakes on and start all over again. I will keep my fingers crossed that your cyst goes away fast and you will be good to go.

Jeck - Congratulations on telling your boss. You must feel so much better that you got that over with. Were they very understanding?

Rachel - I am sorry you are having so many problems. My thoughts and prayers are with you that everything turns out ok.

I hope everyone has a great day. Take care.

Nance--Glad you had a productive weekend!!

Yes, my boss was very understanding!! At the 1st of each month I create mangement reports for our clients and upload them to the server so they can view them. With my IVF I will be doing my monitoring for ER the first week in October and and ET the second week. So I told them if they would set it up where I could access my pc from home then I would do all my reports from home. This way I get paid to do IVF and it gives me something to do so I don't go crazy!! He saw no problem in doing this!!!

So I am very excited and ready to get going on this cycle!!!

Have a great one!!

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is well. I was just checking in for any updates on anyone.

Nothing new to report except I got a letter from the hospital doing the ER&ET giving me the costs of the cryopreservation/thawing and storage of the embryos and sperm and I was surprised at how much it is going to be ($2,400). I have to say that I am very lucky with my insurance. They will pay for 3 ART treatments per lifetime. We already used one for a failed IUI and are now on #2 with my first IVF. Which I know is so much better then most, so I do consider myself very lucky. But the little incidentals have been adding up and I am beginning to worry about what we can do if it does not work. I spoke to my Dr. about these concerns and he said that we will do two fresh IVFs in a row and harvest as many eggs as possible so that after the insurance runs out I can do the FET which I hear is much less expensive than the IVF. I guess I should try to focus on getting through this IVF and not worry about the future but that is hard to do.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day. Anyone have any fun plans for the holiday weekend? I am going to a pot luck dinner at my neighbors this weekend but other than that I have nothing special planned. Maybe catch a movie. Has anybody seen anything good recently?

I am STILL waiting to hear from the ins girl at the RE offoce to see homw much we have left (I think we have abou 9K left) but I NEED to hear it rom her.. lol ya know..

I am getting antsy to start my meds but I still have about a month... Yooooyyyyyy I better find something to keep me busy... lol

Hi Guys, Just wanted to say a quick hello. catching up after the site has been down.

Jordan- pleased to hear your mother-in-law has gone and glad you can relax now. Know what you mean about being frustrated waiting to get started, just want to get going now. Last cycle of IVF I just phoned up and started straight away. No thinking which was good for me!!

Jen- Hope the house move went well and things calm down a bit soon.

Nance-hope you work out all the insurance issues so that you can relax a bit. It's hard though not to think of the future, I'm already thinking about how we'll savefor the next cycle but need to stay postive and hope that worry isn't needed for either of us. Enjoy your weekend whatever you decide to do.

Not much going on with me. Have managed though to book off the week of EC/ET so just hope it goes to plan! It's amazing that the week was free for annual leave as most weeks are fully booked and we can only have one member of staff of a week. Taking it as holiday takes a bit of stress off me as going sick would cause a few bad vibes!

Take care all. catch up soon

Hey Ladies!!

Whew I am so glad the board is up and running!!!

Nance-- That is so awsome that your insurance will pay for 3 treatments!!! I know what you mean about all the little things adding up! It doesn't take long!!!

Jordan-- So glad that you survived the MIL and that we didn't have to come and help you cover up the evidence!!!

Jen1d-- Hope your moving has went well and that you are getting settled in!!!

Casy P-- So glad that you got your time off!! It is amazing feeling isn't it!!! I am going to work from home during that time and I am so thrilled, it will give me something to keep my mind off things!!

Jenn-- Hope all is well, thanks for the emails, I am going to sit down later and reply properly!!!!

As for me I have some exciting news and it just proves that God does work mircles. You know that I am getting my drugs for free this time (1st mircle), then I was scared to tell my boss and I asked God to give me strengh and he opened up the opportunity and I told my boss and he was all really supportive and stuff, scary really (2nd mircle) then I have been in a frenzy because I was all worried about coming up with the money for the cycle, because I knew we couldn't pass it up because of the free drugs, but we drained ourselfs with the 1st cycle so I have been all worried about it. Well my DH was talking to his grandmother and telling her that we were going to do IVF again and all that and she wants to give us the money for the cycle. DH was like "no we can't let you do that". She was like "yes, its already done, I can't take it with me and it is for a grandbaby, so I don't want you to worry about it, its done"!!! (3rd mircle) I can't believe it I just break into tears everytime I think about it!!! So, I am hoping that this cycle is just meant to be!!!

Hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Hello ladies

I was going to post on the September thread, but given as my cycle hasn't even started yet and I'm a week behind, I'll be testing mid/end Oct...

Due to start buseralin on Weds, at last!! Here we go again.

Jeck - your message made me smile, somethings are meant to be, hopefully this is a wonderful omen that this cycle is THE ONE!!

We are very lucky indeed too, that we got notification that we'd been accepted for our one cycle free on the NHS two weeks before our appt at the hospital where we were going to do a private cycle at. They agreed to convert this one into the free one, so we had no time to wait at all. Also, I've resigned!! I've decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth and give this 'free cycle' my best shot, by not being stressed out at work. Although I'm in my three month notice period, they've agreed to give me a MONTH off in the middle of it whilst I'm undergoing treatment!!

Here's hoping that the miracles continue into Oct!!
Good luck to all.

Bring on Weds and injection #1..........!!

Jeck- Just a quick post to say that I'm so pleased for you on the amazing news that Your DH's Grandmother has offered to pay for this cycle. It really does seem that this is meant to be, as God is opening all the right doors for you already. So excited for you.

Becky- I think it's great that you have been able to hand in your notice. I was so tempted to cut down my hours on my 1st cycle, and although I didn't in the end I did take longer off than intended and was so pleased that I did. Having work stress is so not needed when you are going through it all.
