Afternoon ladies

Just to let u all know - trigger shot went great for me - i was expecting to feel different today, but feel just the same (Is that normal lol) Getting nervous about 2moro morn - im not worried about it being painful - im more concerned about being sedated lol

Vickie: Been thinking about u all morning - 8 sounds great hun - its quality not quantity. You have 8 more chances this month than what u had last month. Im glad ur putting ur feet up and relaxing, thats the only bit im looking fwd to - being pampered lol.


No matter how many we get 2omoro, as most of u know, we have decided to only hav 2 eggs fertalized, so really im praying for 2 good un's and pray that they 'bond' in nicely with my DH's wee tadpoles lol

Why does ur clinic not let ur DH come in with you. On the info leaflets we were given, they said that DH wouldnt be allowed in, but the nurse has told us its ok if i want him to. Im not sure when he will go to do 'his bit', maybe i should send him first, i dont want him to be put off by seeing me sedated and maybe in pain? What do u ladies think? What did u all do?

Haylie: We are not that far from Bangor - about an hour or so drive - the men here are LUSH lol. Must be their accents that attracts us lol. I used to live just outside Swansea, a wee village called 'Pontardawe'

Quality is so important, I got 41 eggs last time and only wound up with 6 viable ones and those didn't work, so 8 is a good number. They are actually cutting my protocol in half this time so I don't make alot of eggs.

Macca - thanks for your words of encouragement about EC tomorrow. I always imagine these things to be worse than they actually are After 4 surgeries in the last couple of years I have been through MUCH worse so am sure I will be fine. I think its just the unexpected isn't it...?
How are you doing hun? How's that PMA? I am keeping everything crossed for your test...(HUGS).

Vickie - they won't let DH in with me as he needs to do his "thing" at the same time. Everyone keeps telling me that I won't even know he's there anyway so I guess it makes sense.
I'm nervous, but also excited and am trying sooooo hard to keep my feet on the ground at the same time. It's hard, right?
Anyway, good luck - let's send each other lots of pozzy vibes tomorrow morning.....

Hi Ladies...just got back from my daily blood draw to which they have to poke me at least twice (usually three times) to get my blood

Question...when should dh and I bd before he has to make his deposit the day of my collection. Is it two days or three days before collection? The nurse was not confident with her answer.

Karen: I don't know quite how to advise on this one. I think if you are protected finacially, then I see no reason to not go forward. I agree with you...it only takes one! I mean...let's remember, that is how it works when it happens naturally.

emma: good luck tomorrow with EC. Sounds like a good number of eggs!! Keep us posted.

Ladies, I have serious question?!?!?

I know everyone says to cut out caffiene, and I only drink water and sprite but is the occasional sweet ok?!?!

I am not a big sweet eater but sometimes you just gotta have a brownie! (especially when AF is visiting!!)

Am I obessing about this too much??? I feel guilty everytime I eat a brownie or a snickers bar!!! Sad I know!!

Anther obession I have is I have read not to eat lunch meat while preggers?!?! What about the kind you get them to slice at the deli?? What am I to eat during lunch, can I not have a sub??? I hate all this, I read to much!! Bad Girl!!

Zirly, me and hubby GJW the night we take our trigger shot its worked perfect weve had a 90% fertilization rate...and he has not many swimmers that come out in hammoks ... hope that helped

Emma and for Becky too i promise you we will all be with you and your clinic cant stop us being there (not sure 60 eyes on you will make you less nervous) but we will be rooting for your little ones and upping the meds for you if we think you look in pain. your not alone you have 60 arms wrapped around you and so many PMA vibes your way. i wqs so nervous the first time i looked like jello (jelly) on the bed.

Jemima sweetie we missed you loads.... these 8 dont count though its the next ones i have to go through ovulation then Lupron but thank you its a good sign my ovies want to play. i hope your doing really well...remember NO reading that book....

I had talked to my mom and she told me the same thing about the lunch meat. I than went and bought a bunch of cambells soup to have at my desk. My clinic gave me a sheet of what not to eat and the deli meat was not on there but the internet does say no hotdogs and no deli meat.. I know a girl who ate subs every day during her pregnancy and her little boy is healthy. I think the choclate and the deli is like anything and in moderation I think it should be ok. That again is just my opinion though. Did your doc say one way or the other...I have to have my little bit of choclate too or I get crazy..

I said the same thing Jemma did that your follies sounded great I got so wrapped up in the excitement I forgot that these follies will go away..You are right though this is great news that your ovies are all ready to play nicely..

I am getting excited although I feel like nothing has changed with me.. I guess since I am doing the short flare cycle I wont have much update till all of a sudden everything happens at once..YEAH I am getting excited now

When I stopped drinking coffee, I started eating chocolate like crazy. I don't think it's good but I forgot to ask the nurse about it.
Re: cold cuts/ lunch meat. I also read that you shouldn't eat them while pregnant. Something about bacteria in them. I read that you can warm them up in the microwave to kill everything. You should eat well cooked meat and eggs, pasterized milk and cheese.
I know, I also read too much. The more you read, the more confusing and depressing it all sounds.

i know they say to cut out caffine but i think a bit of what you fancy does you good ....so a bit wont hurt you at all
i think lucheon meat could be down to not really knowing whats in it ...did you say you like it...(i wont say bums and lips then)...im only kidding the only cold cut i can eat is OM bologna ... you cant eat liver or liver products while you are pregnant....so eat away if it doesnt have liver in or on it..

Afternoon everyone

My clinic have phoned and they want me to continue on the same level of menopour and to go in for a scan again on Thursday. They are talking abut EC being either Saturday or Monday. I really really hope it is Monday as we don't break up for our holiday until Sunday night and it will be impossible for dH and myself not to be in work on Saturday. It wasn't the usualy nurse who phoned me and the one I normally talk to does know when my holiday is booked for so I hope that they will hold things off until Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I have got a night off work tonight so am going to curl up on the settee with a book. I need to finish the one I am on as the Stork Club has arrived today and I want to start that one.

I hope that everyone else is alright and promise I will try to find some extra time soon to be able to send you all lots of personal messages. We are just so busy this week getting work ready so that we can have next week off, and I am trying to rest as much as I can.
