Good morning everyone.

Looking at auntys list it looks like it is going to be another big day for us September Hopes and Dreamers.

Aunty - I know I have said it before but thank you so much for keeping our list updated and so colourfull. I am pleased to hear you are on your way now and will be thinking of you on the 7th.

Becky and Emma - Good luck for both of your EC's today. We will all be thinking of you all.

Mia - Congratutions on ET. wow 2 little ones getting very comfortable. I hope that DH is pampering you well.

Macca - Only one more sleep now until your test date. I am so excited for you. I take it you haven't given in to the HPT's

JackieG- I hope you little ones are getting comfortable and you are resting.

Paula - We have both got our next scan tommorow so I will be thinking about you. Good luck

Zirly - 12 follies lovely. I see you have got EC on Sunday. I think mine will be either Saturday or Monday but should know more after tommorow.

Karen - 5 follies so far. I didn't like to read what your doctor had said. I am glad you have decided to carry on as it does only take 1 good egg.

Nimble- Good luck with the injections. I hope that you have got the hang of the mixing now. How is the water going down. I think I made 2 1/2 litres yesterday - just. I just wish you didn't keep having to go to the loo constantly as it isn't very practical while I am at work.

Jemima - Hope you are well. Are you back at home yet?

Isla, Haylie, Emma, Eileen Good luck with the down regulation. hope you are not having any side effects.

Jackie - Not long now tillyou start

KF06 - So sorry to hear that your cycle got cancelled. Also I hear on the news this morning that the hurricane hit but wasn't as bad as expected. I hope that you are safe and well.

To everyone else on the list: Lauralou, Kvgsmom, Suzette, Michelle, Jeck, Saxony, Mary, bella, casey, AMD, Niffie and bobbi, I hope that you are all well whatever stage you are at.

Ladies,

So here's my update. Yesterday I noticed some light brown discharge (mixed with water). I rang the clinic and they said since it wasn't coupled with pain I shouldn't worry. I have had very little since but I did give in and do a test last night and it was negative. I rang clinic and told them and they said as far as they are concerned it is inconclusive and that lots of women show up neg on tests and positive on their beta. (AMCK proof of this) I was told to still come for my beta next Monday assuming no red blood appears and I was not to stop my pessaries. It's never easy this IVF. We always seem to be no better or worse off all the time.

Anyway, I will let you know if situation worsens or improves but I am fairly sure it is a BFN. If it is a BFN I will do a FET late October after my sisters wedding. I decided today that I am going to book a holiday for me and hubby in March (our anniversary) That way if I get preg in November I will 4 months and if I don't at least I will have nice holiday to look forward to before my next full IVF.

Good luck to Becky & Emma having their EC's today. I will be thinking about you this morning.

Just to say Becky and Emma i am thinking about u during ur EC this morning...I hope it all goes well for you, update us as soon as you can!!

Mia..ur ET sounds really positive, u'll be getting ur BFP b4 u know it!

The embryologist phoned this morning and 5 of our 8 eggs have fertilised so i will be getting 2 beautiful embies put back in to me 2moro!! I pray it works!

Macca... im sorry the test didnt show a positive i agree with the clinic those test are never conclusive .. remember someone last time got a BFN on test day she got a BFP with bloods and i think two days later did a HPT and it still said BFN... so im not giving up, i love that your looking forward and that holiday is a great idea..still praying hard for you

Angela your a sweetheart... i love keeping the liist up to date but cant take credit our lovely Jackie (stalker) has been doing a great job with me...lol its going to look beautiful with all the BFP'S soon isnt it

Haylie i try to drink all my water before 5pm so i dont get up so often in the night... although we are all going to have to get used to getting up every two hours

Hi everyone.
I'm back from EC - went great insofar as I didn't feel anything, but we only managed to get 2 eggs.

I am pretty disappointed at the moment as now I worry what if they don't fertilise? Embryologist said they are great quality and this is more important than having loads of eggs that aren't, but at the moment I feel so dispondent.
Can anyone give me any words of encouragement? I'm really worried...

Emma two eggs is great... because
lets say we stimmed together both taking same vitamins same foilc acid same eggs food... you get two eggs i get ten... all that we took for you was shared between two eggs for me it would have been shared between ten... so yours got all the good stuff see better quality
also... there are a lot of clinics in US that are stimming women to only produce max of two eggs because the sucess rate is higher when your not over stimmed.
with IVf less really is more we will be praying your little ones do there thing tonight will they call you with fertilization tomorrow?

Congratulations hun

- i hope they soon snuggle in and hang around to see what all this fuss is about.

Well - i had my EC and they got 12 eggs

I had mild discomfort - but was told later that that was because i was bloated and therefore a wee bit more uncomfortable.
My DH was brilliant (XXXX for my DH) all the way through he held my hand and kept talking to me, some bits i remember other bits will always be a mystery lol. It was all over in 20 mins, and i turned to my DH and said - 'oh is that it - piece of p**s'

(it was the drugs lol) so any ladies out there who are dreading their 'first time' it really isnt that bad. trust me, im the biggest baby walking lol.
The embroyologist will call tomorro between 11 and 12pm to let us know if our 2 eggs fertalized, he is optamistic

he said he was glad that he had 12 to choose from, and that my DH's wee tadpoles were looking lush and raring to go

lol!

Im groggy at the moment

but have been given pain relief, so thats making me a wee bit 'high'

. Ive tried to sleep, but at the moment im am so excited (12 eggs!!!! whoooo hoooo

) that sleep wont come. Ive got my magazines, drinks, chocolate (lol) the TV remote, and my DH by my side, so i think im gonna go and get as much pamerping as possible.

Hope all u ladies are feleling well, im sorry i dont have the energy to read thru all posts today - i will catch up 2moro i promise.

I wanted to pop in to say WELL done to Mia.. Congrats on your little ones getting all snuggled in. Try like Aunty said to not worry too much about the embies they are where they should be and safe and sound.

Honey I am sorry about the test but I dont belive that is the be all end all. I still have faith honey. I personally think if it was over and the discharge was a sign it would not have stopped.. Try to keep the PMA we are all praying for you

Becky we are thinking of you and we hope its going really well. Keep us posted..

Emma your embie babysitter (embryologoist) was right and its all about quality not quanity.. Just try to rest today and you will get good news tomorrow. Are you doing a 3day or 5day

I missed ur posting - we must have been posting at the same time. Hun not to worry about only 2 eggs - if they are looking as healthy as the embroyologist say there are, then im positive you will have a fretalization. It only takes one hun - as u know my DH and i are only having 2 of our 12 fertalized, so we are going down that road together too (seems me and u do everything together lol)

Please dont be disapointed - if u look at it this way - 2 eggs are better than no eggs. Now please rest up and try not to worry too much about it, im thinking of u hun

Then we are booked in for ET on Fri at 3pm. I am soooooooo nervous. I suppose its because I had lots of follies, but today was told of the 17 I had only 5 or 6 were the right size. So, I suppose when you put it like that 2 eggs out of 5 or 6 follies isn't bad, right?
Anyway, I'm off for a snooze now. Still feeling not quite with it.
Oh, and BTW - DH's swimmers are top notch - so that's something in our favour..!

Thank you all again for your reassurance. We will keep you posted tomorrow.

Becky and Emma - congratulations, 2 eggies is fine Emma, afterall you just need one to give you that beautiful baby you so deserve!

I was really worried about the embryologist ringin 2day and was convinced that none would fertilise but it turned out ok and the time soon passed - you will be fine!
..Just let DH be ur servant for the day!

I'm still feeling a bit swollen and bloated after EC yesteday - is this normal? Less than 24 hrs and i'll hopefully have my little embies inside me getting used 2 their new home!!! (fingers crossed)
