Kristi, you probably are better and wondering why I am asking.....

It's lovely to hear your girls are getting on well.

I know what you mean about the sickness being a distant memory even though I was it felt like I was livinbg in a parallel sicky world at the time! A bit like the how the 3 years of ivf is becoming more and more distant too.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and blooming.

I finally finished work yesterday. Not that I wanted too but I was starting to get back ache and feel really tired. Also now having trouble sleeping due to size and peeing ALOT throughout the night. I have been waking in the morning and thinking "oh god, got to get up for work", which really isn't me at all.
Had a doctors appointment yesterday and the constant peeing maybe due toa water infection I have picked up. May also be contributing to my backache. He has put me on anti-biotics (I did ask whether they were thrush free anti-biotics  , but sadly not.... lets keep fingers crossed here!!!) so I hope this will clear any naughty bacteria that has crept in.
Apart from this, everything is cool - blood pressure still low, babies growing and moving well.
I have a scan this coming Monday which I can't wait for and hopefully Obs Gyni will discuss labour with me.
I am still hoping for a natural birth and I definately want an epidural... plug me in honey and give me pain relief.
I am getting alot of B/H contractions and just today have started to get a shooting pain over the right had side of my belly. I want to keep these babies in at least another two weeks so I must rest up I think.

Enough of my rambling, how is everyone. Any scans coming up?

Love to all

Hi everyone, im not having a very good day today :( you no i said i was getting rather horrible creamy discharge well i went to the midwife and she said it was compleatly normal. she said creamy thick white is a very healthy sign of pregnancy.

well....... :( thismorning i wiped myself. it was a different colour than normal like it was going darker like a dull yellow very light brown kind of colour  I hope this isnt going to turn (you no what colour). im not panicing as such, cause its hardly anything, it could be nothing, but im a bit scared it could be the start of something. ive put a panty liner on to keep an eye on it. but the pad is clean its only when i go for a wee.

I feel so upset at the moment and im trying not to worry. i cant help but thinking if........ . it scares me cause what happend last time.
i feel like ive witched myself. i bought a changing station yesterday with a bath, it was on offer, instead of taking it round to my mums i couldnt wait to put it together to see what it looked like. when it was together i told dh to put it in the babies room. i shouldnt have done that :?
im sorry for blabbing but im here on my own today and needed someone to talk to. it must be my hormones, im terrified of anything happening now. i felt i acomplished something reaching nearly 4 months. ive got so use to the idea of being a mummy and holding my two babies. im scared it might get taken away from me.
soryy i havent been on for a while, it was my aniversery and then dh birthday so ive just all over the place getting presents and things.
I heard what happend to vita. glad shes ok and babies are fine, it must have been such a scare for you.
Glad everyone is going ok, some of you are nearly reaching the end now. i bet you are all so exited. love all your bumps there is some big ones there :D

Hayley.

Kareen

You are tiny!! I have probably put on 2 stone but at my size and height it is proabaly not such a shock for my frame to cope with! I am sure it is normal and shows your babies are doing really well.

I am sleeping very well, just getting lower back pain if I stay in the same position day or night. So if I am sat down I soon need to stand and standing I soon need to sit!

I teach so I have had the luxury of the summer holidays. I am back to school next week, though, but I should be able to do a bit of standing/sitting as a I choose. I am not looking forward to losing my afternoon nap!

Chelle...keep resting! Hope the meds do the trick. I dont have a scan for AGES!!! I bet you cant wait to see what position your babies are in.

Love lumi x

hi hayley.....

im sorry to read of your worry....... you should ring the midwife and tell her you have noticed a change in colour..... could be the start of an infection and then again its probably nothing...... no harm getting it checked out......
if you dont have any pains and such then you shouldnt worry too much... i know thats easy for me to say but to put your own mind at rest...take a urine sample in to your GP for testing..... hope you are ok soon....

how is your bump doing? are you feeling your babies move yet?.... i too have bought a few things....i bought a steam steriliser and a bottle warmer... even though i would love to try breastfeeding...i will bottle feed, so that my partner and family/friends can help  ...i bought them because they were at a bargain price..
my sister has also started a baby box for me.... and my future mum-in-law is knitting little cardigans... awwwww its exciting...
hope you are ok....

hi lumi....

like you...standing hurts my back....and sitting after a while numbs my bum

wow your a teacher..... you must have patience!!!!....
when do you finish for maternity leave?... is it 11 weeks before due date? my doctor said seeing as i was having twins my midwife would probably recommend to finish earlier than normal... but i suppose it depends on the individual..... if they feel they can cope !!!.. i reckon november for me... we will see

i read somewhere that 25-40 lbs by term is normal for a twin pregnancy... omg...that seems a lot... im only 5ft2...

i may look out the gym membership card in january!!!
(looks over what ive written.... dont see any spelling mistakes)
if you find mistakes lumi... its the hormones

Kareen, I read 25-35 lbs was normal for single...35-45 was normal for twins. Well, I'm already at 45 lbs with 2 months to go still. My doc said to ignore that and gain as much as my body needed....as long as I was eating healthy and lots of protein (with a little junk food here & there).

I'm sure between comparing our newborn twin stories of being up at night, we'll also compare our work-out stories & how we're trying to lose the weight!

Sounds like everyone is feeling the aches & pains of pregnancy. I also swore that if I ever got blessed enough to get pregnant I'd never complain about anything. Well, not so easy to do!! I'm with you on the feelings of not being able to get comfy, being in pain, tired, etc. I think we're allowed to complain at least a little....we're carrying TWO!!

Chelle, how exciting that you are done working now! Let the count down begin. Yeah, 2 more weeks for you would be perfect. I wouldn't mind having them a few weeks early too. Hope those antibiotics do the trick for you too!

Hayley, sorry to hear about your worry today. I'm sure you are on pins & needles. But stress isn't good either. Maybe call your m/w again...? I hope it clears up or changes color for the better!

I have a baby shower on 9/9 and another one on 9/23. I can't wait!! I have my next scan on 9/13.

Can you believe we're going to have 2 babies??? It still amazes me all the time when I think about it. How did I get so blessed & lucky??

Post by racquel »

Hi everyone, havent logged on lately and it's nice to catch up on all your posts.

Hayley I know how the worry can get to you, I'm sure if you can get ahold of your midwife you will feel much better cause she'll give you good direction. I don't know about you but it doesnt help me to talk to my hubby or mom cause they just ask a billion questions and I end up reassuring them so they'll leave me alone.
Kareen I really needed to laugh today and you're posts did the trick - thank you! You are so funny.

I finally got to stop my PIO shots Monday, what a relief. I've been in bed over 3 weeks now - it's all running together. I have this nice journal to update and just cant bring myself to do it - too tired/depressed or whatever. For the last week I've been able to move around more, even join my family at the table for dinner so that's nice. I have a job that just requires my brain, laptop and telephone line and have been working the last 2 weeks - a bit stressful but at least I have something to do.

Can't help but feel like I'm being "jipped" (sp?) because I can't get out there to see friends (and have them admire my HUGE belly) but of course I'm thankful the babies are still okay, I'm not bleeding any more etc. Lots of cramping but they say that's normal as my body deals with the blood clot - it takes up all the space the babies don't. I have an appointment with my regular OBGYN this afternoon and can't wait.

I feel better already just spending some time with you all - can't wait to hear more about how you're all doing, especially since most of you are ahead of me and I can get a glimpse of what's ahead. Take care friends, Racquel

Was anyone else blocked out of these boards for the past 2 days, or was it just my computer? When I tried to access the site I got an error. I was lost without you guys for 2 days!!!

Kareen, thanks for your kind words. I can't believe I hit 30 weeks today. It's weird with twins because you don't know how early you'll have them, so it feels like a countdown already for me...but of course I could go close to 40 weeks too. I guess the benefit for us is that we are more prepared and get things done early "just in case".

Well, I guess we officially have names for the boys. DH is away for a week so I wanted to finish decorating the baby room. Last night I painted letters with both of their names...painted white with blue polka dots. I'll put each of their names over their crib. They turned out so cute!! So we settled on names finally so I could do that project and finish decorating.

Ok...here's the names. Tyler & Brady. I have possible middle namese, but not definate yet. Possibly Tyler Mason & Brady Ryan.

Racquel, I'm so glad to hear things are still progressing well for you. Although I can tell mentally it's pretty draining on you. And that's understandable! Keep hanging in there!

Chelle, are you still considering natural delivery for Baby A & then pull out or flip breech Baby B? Or has a C- been discussed more with you? I still want to try the first option, but people tend to give me their input (unsolicited) that I should just do a C-. I know it may be out of my control completely, but am just thinking about it more lately.
