AFTER A M/C AND D&C

I m/c at 12 weeks (triplets) after going through my first cycle. The m/c was horrible lost alot of blood, had a D&C after staying in hospital for 4 days. Has anyone gone through anything similar or have any idea how long I will have to wait before trying again. I was released from the hospital Wed. so I have not had a chance to talk with the doctors.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my baby last weekend as well and I know what kind of pain you feel. I am so sorry that it was so horrible with the blood loss and all and I wish you the best as you move on and try again as soon as you can.

I miscarried earlier this year and had a D&C. My doctor wanted us to have two normal periods before starting. The first AF took 7 weeks to come, then I was back to the normal 28 day cycle. I researched this a lot at the time and most sites said AF would take 4-6 weeks after m/c but that it was not unusual for it to take up to 8 weeks. Every doctor is a bit different as to how long they want you to wait, but most will say at least 1 cycle.

I'm so sorry for your loss and hope you are starting to feel normal again. Be patient, you deserve time to heal, this is a traumatic time.
