Okay...I am out of th loop AGAIN. I need to be on here more often so I can keep up better! Lisa, I am so sorry to hear your news. Big hugs to you.

Well I finally received a visit from AF after 48 very long days! :shock: I could have started FET process this month, but I have decided to go ahead and wait until next cycle. And let me just tell you, after such a long time between visits from AF, it has not been a good week...the worst ever! :evil:

Anyway, if all goes as planned according to my last couple of cycles, it looks like I should start BC around October 15th. So, maybe I'll be lucky and have a precious little one arriving this time next year (fingers and toes crossed). :D

Welcome to all the newbies and I am looking forward to keeping up with things a little better in the future. Football season is among us in Texas and since DH is a coach...I am never home and neither is he! Unfortunately, we lost our first game this week and things have not been too pleasant...better luck next week I hope!

That shrimp boil sounds so yummy.. You made me hungry even thinking about it.. I have never heard anything about shrimp being good or bad if you are preggers although I heard tuna fish should be very limited if at all :D That is so funny about Ravin. I saw some of those little things in the pet store and DH and I died laughing.. We picked the name Graham we use to have an old english sheep dog called graham craker so we are going with graham I cant wait to go pick him up.. You will have to post a pic of your sweet ravin so I can see her :D Yes I can just see all of us crazy hormonal ladies (with lovely masks of course) hitting the local banks :D

Thanks for all your helpful info on the hot water bottle/peppermint tea question. I haven't used a hwb and will not do so now but the peppermint tea is working a treat.

Aunty - yes, visits to the toilet are fine so I think its just the gas thing! :oops:

I too am back to work tomorrow and not looking forward to it. I work full time but really feel like that might be too much for me at the moment so I might take their offer up and do half days, giving me time to rest in the afternoons Zzzzzzzzzzzz....

Ok! The report is in. We officially collected 17 eggs yesterday...of which 16 were mature, and 12 fertilized. My transfer is set for this Thursday at 12:00 p.m. pacific time.

Honestly ladies...what are you thoughts. If this was normal IVf I would be boucing off the walls, but we need these to grow to five day blast AND of those be genetically normal. What do you think I will wind up with come day 5?

I am excited and hopeful!

Amd im so pleased it came at last (stupid AF) its so nice to have it all set isnt it getting that timeline and knowing where you are is one big hurdle...i cant wait for you to have your FET start praying for you now...

Zirly thats fantastic those #'s are great ...im going to say 2 perfect blast's transfered and two perfect for freezing....(so you can get a sibling for your twins should you want to....hows that sound...you have great numbers to start with ... and at least you will know for sure your embies are perfect ... we will all be praying for them with you ok

Hello girlies!

Aunty, YES I am so happy things are finally moving for me it seems so unreal!! Cant wait for my scan tomorrow, before starting the stimms I had 5 so I hope that few more will join the group! Just have to pray for some embies this time!!

Jeck yes I remember you, honestly i dont remember "your" story, but the name definitely rings a bell! I am glad that we meet again, and I hope it will be our turn soon!

Jackie! how are you doing with the no smoking?? I am doing just great, although i think i would still enjoy smoking! My Dh stopped 2 weeks ago, which is great for him and for me too because i am not tempted!! :wink:


Zirly, congrats on the 12 embies and good luck for Thursday!!

AMD, congrats! AF finally came, are you excited to get things rolling?

Zirly, 12 fertilized, that's very good, congrats! We had 9 fertilize out of 11 and 5 made it to blastocyst. 2 we're transfered on day 5. I know that 1 was slightly ahead of the others and was right at the stage it should be. I think you'll do fine, you have a good number of embryos. I was worried too that I wouldn't have any to freeze, but things worked out just as I hoped. We can only have faith and leave it in our RE's hands and nature's hand now. good luck!

I hope you all are having a great holiday weekend. It's pretty kick back over here. I got up early today and drove across town for another blood test. I wonder if they can tell if I'm pregnant yet :?: Hmmm. I can't wait for Friday. I refuse to take an HPT. :P Anyway, I still feel ok, I'm more tired, bedtime is getting earlier and earlier. I can feel something going on in my uterus area, it feels a lot like that swelling feeling right before AF. Probably just my lining building up. I did start estrogen pills and patches on Friday. The day after that I started getting all light headed and woozy. Just like when I'm on BCP. Bleh. :?

How are you 2ww-ers feeling? any changes?

Becky and Em - hope you are resting up and I would definitely take advantage of the hald days, Emma it's really grat that your work are supporting you

Ange - how are you doing? I have just had my AF - which is good - but it was so painful and heavy (sorry if TMI) I spent most of yday in bed with a hot water bottle, today is a bit easier thank goodness. I am also really spotty, I haven't had so many spots since I was a teenager!!

Anyway alll those on the 2ww lots of PMA, I hope all your deams come true

Welcome to all the newbies...íts been said alrady but you really will find this site really supportive and helpful.

Haylie I'm doing good. had AF also but very light and not painful at all ( i wonder if its beacuse I was on BCP for the start??) Have fort blodd test on Wednesday and should start Gonal F wednesday night. When do you start stims?

Off work today because I have the Flu!! :x I called the clinic and I can't even take cold and flu tablets to help my head clear a bit!! ..

So I'm goign back to bed now...

Zirly-- Great!! Image My 1st IVF I had 16 eggs, 12 fertilized, 5 made it to blast, we transfered 2 and froze the other 3!!!! So don't worry!!!

Macca--Thanks for all the PMA!!! We will be stalking you in November so watch out!!!! Have you ever done a FET cycle??? It is so less stressful, so this will the one for you!!!

Haylie--Congrats on the AF!! Sorry she treated you so bad!!! How dare her show up to your house and make you feel bad, Here is to kicking the old witch out for 9 months!!! Image

JackieG--I had it at my home so of course I KEPT the leftovers, which wasn't much!! I think shrimp is okay, but that is my last big indulgence on it, for hopefully a while. I will miss it!!! That is all I craved during my ectopic pregnancy!! :shock: I am going to stay away from the major no-no's and not get freaked out on the rest!! ok ok... I will try not to get freaked out!!! :wink:
